After some time spent watching the action, i predict gold price going up by at least 10 fold if not more after ros release :D
 
Looks like almost EVERYTHING is account bound. We botters are toast. What game now?

I watched datmodz lvling his crusaider and lost about 100m gold just on the new crafting and transmogrifying features (keep in mind that was just lvling to 70)... supposing everyone will be using them until they get every item to have the perfect rolls, id say gold will have high value the first few months of RoS release...

But how will you sell your gold with no AH? Unless you set up your own website, pay for someone to build it, pay for the hosting and all the other crap that comes with running a website, you will have to sell it to the Chineses and then you make jack squat.

Well see, after recent events everything seems possible in D3, but im rather skeptical about crafting. When blizz introduced boa crafts it didnt raised gold price in a bit. Plus they seem to doing their best to eliminate economy at all from this game, so it would be bizarre if after deleting AH and making everything boa, they would overlook inconsistency between gold supply (from drops) and demand.

We have to pray that gold features like transmogs adn stuff will be expensive so we can farm gold if this will be cheap were doommed because everyone will be able to craft for own gold

Look at kingkongor's stream, he started with 2.1b this morning, now after i woke up 12 hours later he is down to 1.6b, i'd say gold will sell a lot the first few months bud :D
 
from watching KRIPP stream from scratch,

he's level 38 and only has 50k gold.
he's not on pace to be able to afford what MODZ is doing, let alone UNEQUIP a HIGH level gem

looks like GOLD BOTTING is BACK....
 
yeah watching kripp atm, 50k gold earned in 1 day as opposed to 500m spent for casual crafting etc (kongor stream)... money here i come :D

That guy might be using all this stuff just to test it, theres no telling if gamers en masse will found those features attractive enough buy gold just to use them. But theres little point in speculating right now, well found out in first week after RoS release i suppose.

Yup ... the current situation is like if I'd compare lvl 10-20 content to the AH prices for good weaponry at lvl 60 today. We just can't yet fathom the system/economy/relations yet. As I know Blizzurrrd gold supply (from mobs alone) will rise potentially in the last 10 levels.

I'm just afraid that if they're going through with this "Well you must find everything yourself and are pretty much forced into a solo game!" that they will ultimately create a shitty solo experience that drives away the ones who love and play this game fanatically/much. Because those are the ones that actually pay to win. Our customers.

Everyone buy some Buddywing licenses, maybe then we can get someone to actually work on the bot again..

-Gold is useless except for crafting, which is easily obtained by the millions in the new Adventure/Bounty Hunting mode. (He completes a bounty in ~5min and gets 220k).

basicly the only thing you can trade in RoS is yellow items ... rip in peace diablo botting for profit

Lol i dont believe this, no way they release ros with gold being account bound lol :D
