hi I am new to DB and have tried reading a bunch of threads but have yet to figure this out, I am looking for someone to speak to on Skype and maybe walk me through the setup process.

Read that and read the guide in your demonbuddy folder.

i have done both a few times, I cant find the "profile" and "plugin" folders to extract to.

You need to make those folders in your DB folder (they do not come with DB).
