Maybe there is so many bans going out bc of the amount of people running the bot. OR maybe its bc 90% of you run it completely unsupervised. Currently right now I am watching 10 yes 10! diff bots running the same route in swamp of sorrows and not one of them is responding to whispers, yells, or anything. Not to mention that it is completely obvious bc they are hitting the same exact points in sync.

Some people just don't learn or simply don't care. If everyone used randombuddy or farmer joe when it is released this wouldn't be a issue.

I've seen posts where people are banned for just using rotations, with and without interruptions and all that magic stuff. Got an explanation for that one too?

Stupid botters actually make it easier on the smart botters.

If Blizz thinks that they can catch a majority without getting more intrusive with their mechanisms then the ones who pay close attention and baby their bots will be the ones who stay unbanned.

I've definitely seen VERY recognizable botters running Kick's. We end up in parallel on a quest chain and we behave so close that to someone else they would assume we are the same person multi-boxing. I just stop the bot, fly up and wait for awhile when that happens.

Lots of "tells" when it comes to botters. Usually it is only the other botters who will spot them but occasionally a specific behavior becomes very very obvious. That is part of why I'm leary of Singular. It would -not- be hard for WoW devs to start pattern matching behaviors if they cared much. But for now they get enough instant gratification with dealing with player reports that they don't need to. Just make sure you don't look like other botters and you're going to squeak by most of the time.

Framelock maybe? I do not know exactly how it works, but if we assume that it actually ticks 100 times per sec, isn't that a little out of human capability?

How many? 10? 20 bans? on last few days? , we?re 2895618295687265834765 botting here, so ...

About which you saw in swamp of sorrows, botters was there too maybe 10 or 30, 3 years ago, but you dont saw it because dont exist interrealm feature, or because exist double of active players playing.

We?re not overpopulated, the game its nerfpopulated, think about it

Yea though the recommended tick for most rotations are around 30 aren't they? Is that still too much? Should people start dropping this shit down to like 10? 15? 20? You're right though I'm sure that's why interrupts may be being banned; consistent interrupts at 500ms seems a little shifty.

Maybe some people had it set that high, though mine was only at 25 when I received my 72 hour suspension and CR's where the only thing ever used on that account. Ever.

Theories so far are:
- Blizzard are just acting on the reports that are piling up (though why would someone report a rotation botter? Don't they just help your raiding group?).
- They REALLY are scanning our shit.
- Our 500ms interrupts are shifty as fuck.
- Our ticks are shifty as fuck.
- The bot is detected (Does Blizzard even have an anti-magic barrier?).

Whatever the cause, why not take a break from WoW botting? I'm just sitting around waiting for a green light at this point.

Hi, Gintasama, M86, and others,

Many of us believe its the inhumanly-fast interrrupt logic that is a major 'tell' now. PvPers?those in BGs, and especially Arena?are quick to report anything that doesn't smell right. Hitting 100% interrupt all the time at just the right moment is just not humanly possible.

The solution will require modifications to your favorite Combat Routines. Alxaw is pushing for a common and competent solution to this problem.

The problem is WoWserver-side detection, and we can only speculate. But many of our Community developers believe this to be the cause.

I got my name mentioned. SO SPECIAL! Seriously though, thanks for the link. Do we know if there's been any further bans (only referring to the ONLY rotation users) since the "go turn interrupt off" business?

EDIT: From what I can tell there's only 1 ban (that was posted about) since then. Orange light.

Thats not what framelock does :).

And so do I. I think it is very plausible that they monitor our interrupt behaviour. We might be wrong, but I think this is our best bet for now.

Will this concern be reflected in the Singular routine? like a randomization in the interrupt logic to appear more human.

Hi, Giwin,

I've been talking to Bobby53 about this too, and he thinks Singular is already okay. He knows Singular will fail to interrupt in many situations. For instance, you're in the middle of a long cast, it won't break the cast to interrupt. And there are other situations like this. (But, he's looking at it just to be sure.)

Singular is primarily a PvE combat routine, and its not quite as aggressive with interrupts as the PvP combat routines.
