Hello there, I am making some money in WoW by botting and selling gold.

I make around 8-10 dollars a day(selling around 15-20k gold daily)
So I was wondering if I should bot in D3 too and sell the gold for real money.
I have a d3 account I only need to buy dumonbuddy to start.

But how much gold/items whatever can an average bot make and sell daily?
How much money would it yield daily or monthly?

Who is paying you 1,5 $ per 1000 gold ?
D3 gold is damn cheap isnt it, as i understand it its not really profitable to bot that game ...

Nobody is paying me 1,5 $ for 1k, they pay me 10$ for 20k(generally)

I was wondering if I can make that much in D3 too

You could have made money a year ago! You are a little late now, but there is still a few bucks to be made on a lucky occasion!

Someone fell asleep in elementary math class.

All depends on how geared / experienced you are at spotting which items are actually good and will sell, instead of trying to sell crap and getting frustrated. From selling gold alone you can make like 25 cents / hour? lol, its really about selling good items on either the RMAH or for shit ton of gold on the GAH and selling that on the RMAH.

D3 is more about botting good ass items which will net you a large profit than farming the gold itself to sell, the gold my bots actually collects is probably around 15~% of the total $ earnings I make. Unless you have like 50 bots gold farming sucks.

TL DR: gold is near worthless, farm items to sell for mass gold to sell, not farm gold itself to sell.

Lemme put it this way op, you are better off investing the extra money you have in wow, rather than bothering with d3...

well 11?/month for 8?/day is still 229? win per month and bot

On the other hand: WoW bots need quite a bit of Maintenance and consume time, don't they?

Earnings are around at 10-15 $ a week/character depending on your set up and on the gold price (selling via the RMAH). You probably get more if you manage just a few bots.
Asking about profit you might consider your costs:
- Account, 30-40 $
- Gear: well, depends on how effective you want your bot to be. I spend around 400-500 m gold per character, 10-15$
- Rate of ban: that's probably the most important data in your risk management. It's currently very low for DB, at its peak it could have been every two weeks if you were unlucky. But at that time, you could make easily 10-15$ a day.

Anyway, to answer your question, it is and has been profitable. People losing money are the one with high risk aversion: bot 12/24, quit after ban etc.

Gold is like 1.5 / 50 mil and dropping. you make about .5 mil/ hour, plus items and you better get lucky with some good drops because the RMAH is pretty dry. if its not a very well rolled items you aren't getting much. i still make a few dollars here and there but its not anywhere near as it used to be even a couple months ago. i dont buy game keys anymore even though i have enough power to run 8+ more bots at least, maybe more if i am willing to fire up some old laptops.

Blizzard is removing the real ah and ingame currency ah, and so they should D2 was all about items from bosses not this dog crap ah OverPowered gear.

So I say next month D3 bot will be useless.

Too late to the party. I strongly advise against it if you bot purely for profit.

If anything wait until the expansion comes out. There's a slim chance that the AH won't be completely gone.
