Good to see Uldum still broken, especially the underground of Obelisk of the Stars. Had to do everything manually as it just kept going to "Pickup"

and now that Im finished, its still trying to go there to "Pickup" a quest when theres no one there..

If you are certain you have completed and turned in The Thrill of Discovery - Quest - World of Warcraft, then you are suffering from cache corruption issues. This is not a profile problem, but an issue with your Honorbuddy installation. You can find the instructions for clearing the problem here:

bots been trying to do a quest that does nto exist and I want to skip it.

quest ID is

30785

i am past that quest chain.

i have cleared my bot cache and the wow cache.

any way to just remove this quest from the profile and the ones from that chain ? (temporarily..)

Hi, Phyxios,

Two things. First, your Singular is having serious issues--90% of your log is filed with this:

[03:20:23.181 D] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Singular.ClassSpecific.Hunter.Marksman.<CreateMarksmanHunterNormalPullAndCombat>b__4(Object ret) in c:\Users\*****\Documents\BlizzardBuddies\The Honor Buddy LEVELING\Routines\Singular\ClassSpecific\Hunter\Marksman.cs:line 71​

Not sure exactly what is wrong, but it looks like something serious. You may want to think about a 'clean install' to clear this issue. Instructions here, should you choose to this:

As to the cache, there is a very particular procedure you must follow to achieve success. The full instructions are here, and should clear up your problem about trying to pick up a non-existent quest:

Hi again, Phyxios,

Then, I'm going to send you to the Support forum, and they will need to see a fresh log. The inability to pick up a quest is usually not a problem with the profile.

/e just skipped that whole profile and went to dread wastes... hopefully theres a fix soon. >.< on an end for the bot or here.

Why kicks profile don't change zone when the char levels up ? i'm doing green quest and killing green mobs all the time :/
 
As already written so many times before, please provide a full log (no snippets). Otherwise the devs can't take a look into this.

Toon just stay on the Stairs and doesnt move, till afk out.

Hi Folks,

I just happenend to restart HB when questing in Borean Tundra and was already 72.
After the restart I was aware of that he would move onto the next zone but not that he is moving to Howling Fjords, which basically the same as Borean Tundra just other setting.

So, I'm wondering why does the profile tell him to go and make that zone too which is totally obsolete since I'm already 72 which is suggested by Blizzard as the max level needed to progress further.

Apparently Sentinel Yalo can be in a state where he doesn't want to gossip:

Hi, Weischbier!

That's the way the profile pack was original designed. Recall that Kick was tasked with "completionist" design goals for the profile pack (think, "as close to Loremaster as possible").

Since then, Bliz has provided three experience 'bumps' in the zone content such that you don't need to do all the content you previously did to obtain level 80. Additionally, Bliz has introduced guild and Heirloom gear experience bonuses since the profile pack was originally written.

Our focus right now is on eliminating bugs, stuck situations, make it AFKable, and get flying in more places. We perceive eliminating one more day /played to get to 90 as being a "nice to have" optimization for the profile pack at the moment. There are much more pressing things to address.

When the profile pack is solid, we may revisit some of the requirements, and see if we can accommodate adding a "minimum time to level" requirement. It would need to be selectable in some fashion, as the "completionist" requirement isn't going away.

I've been using this profile and it has been working fairly well so far. Currently I am in Tanaris and it just seems to be derping out on every other quest. For both of the quests with fire roc and hyena it has to kill them then use an item on them, after it kills one it won't use the item and won't do anything until i finish that quest manually. Also a quest where you have to collect handfuls of blood it just goes to the area and doesn't attack anything. Same for the quest where I have to collect scorpion tails/stingers. Then for the giant scorpion quest it just killed one small scorpion then sat over it's body until I manually killed the big scorpid. I attached the log. I have already cleared all 4 caches/clean installed honorbuddy when it was bugging out last night.

IDK about anyone else but Ashenvale is a complete wreck for me , every time, every toon lol. I usually have to babysit the entire zone.
Off the top of my head... Lots of stucks, The wood gathering quest where you protect the peon (always find my guy afk 0/5 wood), doesnt attack the nuetral deer for the venison (always find it afk 0/5 following a deer), my issue with this toon (right now) where it just runs around in a loop grinding mobs not part of any quest(nor do they drop a quest item from what I can tell), gets stuck at closing the fire rifts(afk with 0/8 closed), later on with the escort type quest with Torek (often found afk with failed - manually just did this before log because I can't trust the bot to do it - ever) annnnnnd the nagas on the west coast ive had issues with something but i forget - I'll find out once im past this issue and hopefully provide a log for that in the future.

No logs for any of that due to numerous clean installs.
Log here is for where my toon isnt questing, just running to hotspots, which turns out to be a never ending loop, grinding mobs along the way... (ashenvale skirmishers, spiders, wolves anything it can target)

Cache cleared, clean install, no plugins at first, plugins eventually no changes

EDIT: yup, yet the path was pretty broad considering where sharptalon spawns/paths


P.S. Tanaris issue possibly with profile (w/ logs) (this toon is now 70+ so maybe it's been updated since, will find out with this warrior)

I had this same issue, I had to grind mobs until I could do the next zone :/

I see you were doing Battlegrounds earlier in the log. Something may have glitched, and you need to restart Honorbuddy to clear the problem.

The problem is not related to the profile. I'd try restarting Honorbuddy after you're done playing in Battlegrounds.

Hi, Aaron913,

It looks like the grind area was originally set up for The Ashenvale Hunt - Quest - World of Warcraft (which includes Sharptalon, but the quest no longer exists). I've captured your issue to the Known Bugs List: Classic 1-58. Although, the issue is one of optimization and not actually a bug. The profile does hunt down SharpTalon and retrieve his claw. I ran the profile with three toons through that area this past week with no issues.

We already responded to you (in the thread you cited here) a couple of days ago. Please see the last post in that thread. We explained that the problem is not profile-related and should be repaired in the next drop of Honorbuddy.

Still having issues in Tanaris after restarting wow and honorbuddy, I attached the log. It just goes to a hotspot, stops moving, and my pet killed the scorpion that attacked me. The bot then just sat there for a minute and didn't seem like it was gonna move anytime soon so I stopped the bot.
