Question for more experienced wow botters

In your experiences botting wow for much longer than I have been (i was a LONG time diablo 2 and about a year of d3 botting),
is it beneficial to make more than one character per bnet account?

Example-
I mine ghost iron ore for an hour on one character. Ok, no big deal, people probably farm ore for an hour before they get bored as hell.
I then log off onto ANOTHER character on the same bnet account, to farm ghost iron for another hour.

Does this look "suspicious" to blizzard in some way? Or is it more acceptable, since I could have siblings or friends, or whoever that also have a separate character from my "main" on my bnet account?

Anybody done something similar to this in the past, or right now?

well you probably won't be able to farm enough to get anything out of it.

..........ok maybe you arent understanding what im saying.
Say I have 8 characters on a bnet account.
On character 1, I farm ore for an hour.
On character2, I farm ore for an hour.
Char 3, farm for an hour, etc etc etc
That means I could farm for 8 hours, and have "one hour of playtime recorded" per character.. does that make sense? So maybe it doesnt look as suspicious as ONE character farming ore in the SAME ZONE for 8 hours straight.
If anything you could make more gold doing it this way and be relatively "safer", if I'm correct, but I may not be.
Does that make sense now?

edit-
1 hour of playtime does not give too much towards LCP detection (if it exists) since it would be spread out among all characters on the bnet account

This is in violation of the Blizz ToS so this doesn't help you at all. If the goal is to appear normal multiple toons on the account will help but that should be more for appearances not as a mining team. Its way more work for almost no benefit.

Right. But I think player reports and LCP detection is what gets MOST botters now a days.
At least with this idea I could only be logged into a zone for an hour or two and still be making gold, right? Then just switch characters. Also, I didnt literally mean to make EIGHT characters, it was just an example lol. I'd probably go with 3 or so. All DK's to start at 55 so its quick to level with my RAF.

Hawker has a battle.net account with at least a dozen different wow accounts. so yea, you can do it. now if you get banned all they do is ban that wow account your botting on, not the main battle.net. they dont care about the other accounts on your battle net account. if you wanted to login with all 12 wow accounts on your battle.net you can do that too, as they all act like different accounts.

thats not really what i meant either, lol.
Here we go:

I log in to my bnet account, which has four characters on it. ALL level 90's.
1x druid
1x paladin
1x mage
1x warrior.

I log on to my druid to bot farm ghost iron ore for an hour and a half. Not very suspicious, and very low LCP detection since I probably switch profiles and use randombuddy, and I was only mining for 1.5 hours.
I then log off that character, BUT STILL STAY ON THE SAME BNET ACCOUNT. And go to my Paladin.
I farm ghost iron ore for another hour and a half, using randombuddy, etc, etc.
Then I log on to my mage and farm for 1.5 hours again, using randombuddy, etc etc.
THen my warrior for another 1.5 hours, using randombuddy, etc.
So in total, I just farmed on ONE BNET ACCOUNT for 6 hours, making gold selling ghost iron ore.
My question / interest is: Does that look suspicious to blizzard or not so much since it's 4 separate characters all doing the farming?
If I see ONE person collecting ghost iron ore for 8 hours straight, its obviously a bot.
But if that character only does it for an hour and a half, it COULD be a real person.
Make sense?
So I would alternate between 4 characters, but CONSTANTLY be farming on the same bnet account. With minimal "LCP Detection" and minimal chance for player report since I wouldnt be logged in to the same zone on the same character for a long period of time.

no, it should be fine, just mix things up. dont keep running that same script, every now and then sign them up for a battleground or something. though it would probably be better to only run 1 main character for gathering, running multiples even from a "i dont wanna get banned" aspect makes little to no sense. so i guess in that respect it will toss people for a loop.

I do like to switch from one character to another, as I sometimes think that player reports are character-based and not account-based.
