i7-3770K vs i7-4770K

it will cost you like 10 i7 3770 botting rigs xD

Well meh, there are also cheaper e5-xeons. I obviously meant the dual CPU part.

On toic: I guess the 4770k is better for botting since it's only 5$ (or so) more expensive than the 3770K and runs beter in almost all benchmarks including multi thread handling.

LOL your joking right? Z87 to Z77 HurrrDurrr , Different sockets and different chipsets. Do some research buddy

Right now it isn't cost efficient to build a server system for the sole purpose of botting. It used to be, if you are able to get some of the more expensive parts for cheap (aka ebay etc second hand). It's been discussed before.

on topic: the best thing you can possible do, when buying a pc, is to look at your budget and get the best components for that price- same goes for a botting rig, no over kills, they rarely pay off. HOWEVER !! right now you have 6 months left until they close down the RMAH. Who knows how it is gonna be after that; my advice is: you get a good pc, not for a botting rig, but let's say a regular gaming pc and use it to run your bots until that dies off or picks up. Then you will have a good gaming pc, that you can still use or sell.

I see a lot of new guys around, being curious how to make money on botting. Sorry to disappoint you, but it is kinda over. Seriously guys, you are WAY late for the D3 botting train.. if there's still a market for items / gold / whatever is valuable then, the profit will be after the expansion.

3930K. if you work at wal mart or any other retail store that sells intel products, you can get one for $155

not very smart, 4770k can run 16 bots. So dont waste money for nothing, 2500k can run 8 bots perfectly.

The 2500k can run as many bots as the 4770k.

No reason to spend the added money. Overclock the 2500k. Saying the 4770k can run twice as many is retarded, but hey, idiots soon part with their money etc.

If you were really smart youd get two 8core FX systems to run that many bots at half the price. Unless youre a fanboy that likes to buy brands instead of saving money to do THE EXACT SAME THING. This is of course for a dedicated botting system. If you plan on having 16 bots and youre going to do other shit, get a 4770k.

The difference, OP, is roughly 10%.

AMD is especially good if you like doubling your electricity bill. For a 24/7 botting computer, Intel is more efficient.

But AMD can be good if you live in a cold area or like to cook eggs on your CPU.

o rly? how? i have a friend at walmart.

Intel Retail Edge Program
https://retailedge.intel.com/_layouts/landingpage.aspx

They sign up and they get points for participating in quizes n chit to 'increase their knowledge on intel products'. It took my buddy a week of doing this while he took his daily dump at work. My friend had to send Intel a copy of a paycheck stub to validate that he actually works in retail.

They also had the i7 3770K for $80, but they were sold out when I ordered the 3930K.

btw, how do you get so many LPH?
