The Buddy Forum doesn`t quite break a speed record.

Hmmpff that doesn't mean jack!

You could be on a 200 petabyte connection and LATENCY would still be an issue.

BANDWIDTH doesn't mean jack to network LATENCY.

Edit:

Your best friends looking up network congestion (validate both DNS and IP, NOT one or the other!):
ping
tracert

else, if doubtful, use one of the 3rd party sites hosted on L3 datacenters.
*Obviously, these will NOT tell you if there is a problem between your modem and the questionable site. The above commands will only notify you of this information or calling your ISP.

Code:
http://dnstools.com/
http://www.dnsstuff.com/
that does not explain why the problem only shows up with this site. I also have a 120Mbit connection, and all other internet sites load normally.

Lol! Yet you're trying to prove that the turing test will work on old technology?! Seriously, if you don't know the difference between Bandwidth and network LATENCY then.... whatever.

I'm on a 5mb connection and the site loads normally, as any other site. A 5Mb connection loads pages at the same rate as a 120Mb connection does. You folks, obviously, have network issues, either within your service providers network or your service providers handoff, whether it's network congestion or failed routing (IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP) ... only the providers will know. A simple ping and tracert will show LATENCY, that is, if you knew anything about computers/networks, and will tell you EXACTLY where the LATENCY is occuring at which hop.

I may not understand much about pings and such, never was interested. But I certainly am not going to put my rig to the question for an incidental problem. The question was legitimate whatever you may say: I do not have any problem with other sites. That is clear enough for me. If you can think you can provide clear information without techno-babble, we will be grateful, otherwise please refrain from your hateful reactions.

I'm having major problems this morning with the thebuddyforum.com. It's taking 20-30 seconds to load each page. Ugh!

Meanwhile speed tests put me at 23 Mbps down, 9 up.
