Is anybody else who is getting the 'honorbuddy.mainwindow' threw and exceptions bug using Windows 8 64bit OS?

HB does support 64 bit?

Please install Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 from Official Microsoft Download Center, reboot and try again if you have the issue mentioned that often.

honorbuddy main window through exeption

Hi, not a big problem but:

is it only me that cant update my current honorbuddy folder. Usually when i patch i get a popup that its a new version, but when start HB now, it either doesnt start because i dont have a valid instance of wow running or, if im logged in it says i have the wrong version number to start it.

Another thing, when i fail starting HB doing this my session will be "active" and i need to close it on buddyauth. was active for like 3 min before i had to kill it the first time.

I've installed both the 64 and x86 2012 resdists, and still having the issue. This is with a fresh install.

and yes you should install x86 version no matter if you are on 64bit OS


its not a bad idea to reboot your system after installation done and check for OS updates as well

Is this needed on a 32 Bit OS?
