Long time since progress update.

it's funny, everytime a update is released, its like.. "Viva le revolution!" (spoken in a foreign accent to make it sound cooler)

You plan your life around a bot? You might want to take a better look at your life.
I dont see how they can predict any better than they can. When solving problems sometimes you solve faster than expected or slower. things come up. ninja patches from bliz and dozens of other things. at best they can tell you were they currently stand.

Wow, you guys defending the devs sure are excited to be in the right. Of course they are working on it, but this is something you're used to. Not everyone is jaded and burnt out.. some of these kids are excited to be using honorbuddy and have no experience with patches and the subsequent downtime for hb.

I'm sure, however, that the developers are keeping tabs on these threads and that all of you who bitch at people who can't contain themselves and stop from asking for update info are going to be rewarded with in game mounts, free accounts and virgins.

It might be that YOU are the one in need of life analysis. You have no input for this thread, or anything of any value to say... you're here simply to talk down to another. Get like me.

And that was exactly what i asked for, in my world it is not to much to ask for a 2 sentence update on the progress ever 12th hour or so. And no i don't plan my life around a bot, far from.

update that update post twice a day, morning and evening... waiting kills me and others.

I do understand, they are working hard on it, but as someone said allr, if i know it wont be for days, i wont even be around... for days.

I just found out that i cant even play any char properly without it :) gg

Stop being a naive drama queen.
Of course they know approximately how much time they need.

If anything, they could just post minor updates about what they have done and what is needed to be done, to calm us all down.
It's the lack of presence that's killing us. For all we know they could be sitting around eating donuts...

Why are you so aggressively defending them?

It takes them 10 seconds to post something of "Hey guys, we're still quite a ways from being done", or even "hey guys, we're hoping to be done this afternoon, but with all the changes we may run into a snag". Even as simple as "Sorry guys, no real update at this time. We're still working hard" - this goes a LONG way in just giving people some sort of piece of mind that the people responsible for a tool that was purchased, are indeed working on it.

It's called good customer service. Keep in mind, we ARE the customers.

They did an excellent job during the initial 5.4 patch, and now they have gone dark. People just want to know what is going on with their purchase. A lot of people rely on this tool to make the game more fun. I run 3 bots for about 3-6 hours a day. It keeps my gold stock high, and provides mats for the guild. I have been unable to do that in the last 72 hours, when prices on the AH are high and people are buying ore in droves. I simply do not have the time to do it all more than 2-3 hours a day of play time (if that!). Pardon me for wanting to know when the tool I purchased is going to be available for use.

I want to stress, that I am not complaining that they are taking a long time. I know that this was going to take a few days... but going dark when they were updating us on the status at the beginning of their day and the end really was a nice touch.

Seems like HB can use a PR guy. Heh.

i would rather wait until its done than getting my hopes raised with a release date and be let down
and i know if the say they be done today or tomorrow and they dont release anything there would be a much bigger shitstorm.
also there is absolutely nothing we can do about it and ppl keep whining.
its nothing wrong with being patient once.
