Getting random small patches could be them updating the background downloaded to install the newer patches that they are adding. It does not mean they are updating the actually game every time there is one.

isn't patch 4.0.1 or what 'evs (the one that starts the Cata series) suppose to be coming in early to mid November? couldn't it just be a lil patch to help boost the preparation a for cata just a lil?
