here is my first Fishing profile!

What he do:
He fishs only fish pools in Sholazar Basin and Maybe you get the Sea Turtle :>

What he dont do:
Mail, Repair, Sell.

ToDo list:
Add repair, mail, sell, mor fishing profiles

What you need:

Honobuddy and Auto Angler Plugin. you can get it here

Don't get me wrong; this is a good profile... but to get the turtle it can require days.
Fishing in a public questing hub and fishing daily hub seems a not so great idea to a botter like myself.

This profile sure is good due to alot of Pools and fast respawn on them but if i were to bot there i would end up with an infinite amount of deaths ;/

If you're worried about using this specific profile, the Sea Turtle mount can be fished from ANY pool in Northrend. I'm sure there are safer/less used places to farm, you would just have to create a profile with few hotspots - very simple to do, the posted profile is only 28 lines of code...

Just a quick roundup since people are still confused:
1. Patch 3.3 introduced; no junk from northrend pools, you can now fish any pool successfully with skill 1.
2. Although you think you look absolutely fabu' astonishing in your fishing outfit (Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat, Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole etc) there is no need for +fishing skills anymore, hence Patch 3.3
3. Ofcourse, if you do fancy the looks, by all means wear them.
4. There is no way that you can increase the drop chance of the turtle, it will always remain the same. You are not guaranteed a drop after a fixed number of catches, the RNG doesn't work that way - basicly each throw with your fishing line is your first, if you want to look at it that way.
5. The mount is still in the game.
6. YES! really, it actually still is in the game, you're just unlucky or impatient.
7. They removed the BoP warning a couple of patches ago, but its still very important to always have free bag slots, trust me. You will loose the last bit of sanity if you somehow accidently move out of range from loot window, are getting ganked or you close loot window by mistake while nervously trying to make a free bag slot.
8. Disregard any comments that claims they caught the turtle after 50 casts or in school number 4. It can happend for you, sure, but don't count on it.
9. Crusader Aura does not work with this mount.

What I do want to tell you is how I prepared myself for getting this very unique mount.
I choose 3 places to fish:

* Lake Kum'uya
* Frozen Pools
* Sholozar Basin

Crystalsong I have found to be a great place to fish pools, there are always some to be had, and there is even an already built profile from the creator of autoangler himself.

I get paranoid about using HonorBuddy near water. The mesh system drowns me too much.

Edit: Sigh... After killing a mob in the water, the bot went to AFK in the water and fucking die. It was just stuck at Activity: Combat.

This mesh system is very unreliable for water.

I had to resque my bot several times from full bags becasue i had like 10 of these mounts in my bags ( loot filter cant delete them as you need to type DELETE to confirm deletion ). I had to resque my bot several times from full bags becasue i had like 10 of these mounts in my bags ( loot filter cant delete them as you need to type DELETE to confirm deletion ). What are you smoking?

First, its only obtainable from pools. Second, you fished 10 turtles? Getting turtles is so common for you that it becomes a PAIN?

Problem with this profile is that the bot keeps attacking the monsters in the water for no fucking reason, causing any water walking effect to disperse. This is most likely an HonorBuddy problem though as I think the mobs are all blacklisted. HonorBuddy has been failing at recognizing blackspots and blacklisted mobs.

You are an idiot. It does have to be fished form a pool. It can't be fished from anywhere. The best place probably is crystal song forest, though I made one in Grizzly Hills that goes up and down the river between Amberpine Lodge and the Blue Sky Logging Camp. It's slow but I get a shit ton of Glacial Salmon to sell in the mean time. I've yet to get this mount btw.
