[Party Plugin] SimpleFollow - Multi-Bot Party Plugin

hello. I have a suggestion, I observation that when a follower die, that he teleported to the leader. is it possible to reverse the procedure? when the leader die that he teleported to his folowers? because when the leader die it slowed considerably the run, and it can be set with this operation.

Is there anyway say me and a friend both have bots to set them up to run together?
 
i'm wityh ocgeno. wondering if it will work with friends bot; i'm assuming not because won't be able to generate any connection between the two accounts unless just the friends list works then god I love you guys.
 
we're having remote troubles :(. I only have 1 online friend, I have only simple follow, trinity & unid enabled. simple is config frient 1 debug log & whatever the first box is check marked, load profile click start. waqit couple seconds my friend clicks starts, but I get this "Exception reading IsFollower current profile: System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted.

I think you can only use this to run all the bots from the same computer.
 
Oh really ? ok because buddy was saying earlier in the forum that he used it with his friends so I assumed it worked like a normal follow plugin that long as you and your friend both have DB & the plugin installed it would follow with the party members setup & only 2 friends on list but I guess not since you're the first person to respond to me haha. tyvm

Yeah, I am just testing out this plugin right now, so I am not really sure everything that it is capable of doing yet. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in.

In simplefollow.xml if you change localhost to your ip it will work over multiple computers. If you are on separate networks you have to set up port forwarding on your router.

It's possible, edit SimpleFollow.cs (not SimpleFollow.xml). There's a place where it says "Localhost", you have to put your machine's IP in there.

I don't recommend doing this unless you're behind a firewall of some kind.
 
Is there away that I can have my Friend follow my bot? We are on different networks. He is at his house and I am at mine. Is there away for us to bot together and kill together? Thanks

That was answered in the two posts above yours. Edit simplefollow.cs, add port forwarding on router. Opens you to unknown security vulnerabilities.

This is totally possible. However, there's so many variables and considerations to take into account that I doubt anyone will walk you through it. It completely depends on your home computer, home network, firewall type (if any), your friends computer, network, and firewall, latency and throughput considerations, bot setup, number of friends in your social list in the game, among many other things. However, if you and your friend have a solid understanding of networking, then, it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to setup.

If you really just want to party bot, then what most people do:
1) Buy ISBoxer / InnerSpace
2) Buy 1+ more cop(y/ies) of the game
3) Use R-YAR for bot management and SimpleFollow
4) Design your bot team for efficiency and synergy

this , just make sure that you are using the ip provided by the v-p-n
 
I tried to lvl toon with another toon, but follower bot didnt get any exp. Is it fixed by blizz?
 
Can you make it stop spamming the leader is in town constantly or using banner stuff constantly.. pretty please :)

Also im struggling with that the leader isn't waiting for the follower so it ends up with alot of deaths.

Is there a way to change the invite friend function abit better? I have considerable more than 3 friends on my list so it would be more helpful to have a name field instead of a checkbox there for me at least.
