need help setting up CM wiz

So here is my build as i run it for botting,will update in a bit but 200k dps with 45k life

I have a few different items that i can add that will increase dps and health. dps up to 250 and health to 50k. u ask y i dont use them, Well the hellfire is obviously for the exp gain and the SOJ is a test to see if the lower dps is made up when killing elites. for whites i just one shot but elites arent so easy. I currently run this on mp2 and i still die about 8-12 times an hour. Just seeing if this is normal for people using trinity on a cm or if i am doing something wrong. When i play i can farm mp10 easily so i dont understand how the bot is struggling with mp2...

any help is much appreciated

I have 35k Life 205K dps unbuffed running MP8 with 3 deaths an hour doing Act 2 speed runs KILLING ELITES. However I did a ton of tweaking on my Wiz.cs file because Trinity failed miserably at CM Wizards. I am never on cool down because I have 55% crit but yet I watch him standing there not casting shit 50% of the time end up dying for no reason. So I just edited my Wizard.cs and I haven't had those problems since.

okay so im not crazy. ya i cant stand the trinity setup for cm. would you mind sharing what you have done to the file or possibly uploading it ?

ps i upgraded gear to 245k dps and 49k life so i should be better now he only dies 2-4 times on mp2 lol...
 
icotulookin, could you help me too, i have the same problem as Firefighter32.
 
This is only possible either with custom made wizard.cs or by having 200B of gear worth and u would still die then.
I have 250k dps , 2.71 Aps , 55 cc , a little over 900 AR and i still die like an idiot on mp4. The conclusion is that the current state of trinity for cm is rubbish and it would probably die with best in slot items on lower mp's.
U could use FunkyTrinity but i had some problems with it lately but it has far better mechanics.

You really could share this, we the community don't have anything from it if we can't use it , also u could suggest it to Trinity devs if u actually really made any improvements, bcs its obvious by now that either they don't care or don't know how to tweak it.
 
If this guy doesnt share. do yall want to work on fixing what we have. i feel a huge problem is the AI it wants to kite instead of tank. when i play i tele into the biggest group and start spamming. it wants to freeze and run away.

It could also be the fact that you don't hit the 2.733 breakpoint.

My wiz has VASTLY worse stats and never dies on MP4.
 
here are my stats 2.77 attacks per second
55 crit chance
361 CD
242k dps
53k health

that being said i should easily shit on mp2 and way more than that in my mind. i can farm mp10 no problem at all. but the bots AI is just not what is needed for a CM. i need it to dive and and spam not freeze run away and spam in the middle of no where. i mean its novaing nothing and its blast are hitting nothin. how do we make it jump in and spam till its all dead ?

stopped using exp gear and just stuck with gem got mine up to here now

Sry, its a typo, i have 2.74 actually but didn't double check what i written. Mp4 is fine for me also but i can do that with my archon, and its faster. I would love to do mp8 because its more then capable of doing it.

for archon do u need a wep with life steal ? ive played cm since it started gettin popular when the game came out

Hi..

Ive lately had some issues using CM wizard and the different skills. So i found the best solution which works great. I tried meteor, blizzard and teleport (but they all give a messy and uncontrollable fight). I changed mine to slow time so my cm wizard will aoe the mobs down before moving to the next pack. Sadly with teleport it will pull alot more packs which it cannot handle.

Skills:

Button 1: Diamond skin (Rune: Crystal shell)
Button 2: Explosive Blast (Rune: Chain Reaction)
Button 3: Frost Nova (Rune: Bone Chill)
Button 4: Energy Armor (Rune: Pinpoint Barrier)
Button left mouse: Energy Twister (Rune: Wicked Wind)
Button right mouse: Slow Time (Rune: Stretch Time)

With this build i do easily mp8. I still have abit to go for mp10 on inferno :)
 
so i said screw cm and went archon im farming mp3 act 1 getting 86mil exp i encourage everyone to do the same if ur just trying to farm para like i am for the expansion
 
just make sure you have 1000k eHP with prismatic armor on and about 92-93% total damage reduction (use TurboHUD) if you wanna do MP10.
