Any chance of more endless runs for Cataclysm dungeons? I can see those as good money makers.
Well, sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't.
Well geared hybrid melee classes can usually cut through Cataclysm dungeons like butter, yielding a pretty nice profit.
However, lower-geared classes can struggle. Usually causing major profit loss. In these cases, Lich King dungeons could be more profitable.
I like go to by what I call the
'overload sweet spot.'
The overload sweet spot is were you come as close as possible to 12minutes and 30seconds per dungeon run with the highest amount of kills.
These dungeons usually have NPCs that can be 1 hit by the bot (typically with an AoE attack.)
When MoP was first released I ran a statistic sheet based on gear/class/gold. If I can find it, it has some nice information on it.
The statistics included 3 of every class.
3 monks, 3 hunters, 3 mages, 3 etcetcetc....
Each having bad - medium - good gear.
All also using the same talents. Which (at the time) were considered the "highest DPS builds."
Bad-Medium geared melee classes had a better GPH outcome in the Lich King dungeons.
Well geared melee classes had a better GPH in Cataclysm dungeons.
Ranged classes and rogues had a lower GPH than any melee class.
These numbers were also ran before stats were buffed up, so the gear-sets could be completely irrelevant now.
But -- enough of all that! To answer your question:
I had plans to do the Cataclysm dungeons, but there was low demand for it, most farmers wanted farms for Outlands dungeons.
Also, the boss fights/code-working can be a lot more complex than the typical dungeons. And to be honest, I didn't want to tackle something like that at the time because I was too lazy. xD
When I get back from vacation, and I get back into the swing of everything. I'll start on Cataclysm again.
