[Azyul Project] Dungeon Farming, Gold Farming, Mount Farming, Transmog Farming, and more!

Magtheridon's Lair - Weekly Farm doesn't fly thru the dark portal for me, had to do it by hand. Also hearth's before it loots the boss.

Short Answer:
No

Long Answer:
We can't remove profiles that "clearly" don't work. 9/10 of the issues people have are situational issues that occurs per-client.
What doesn't work for you, may work for someone else. 90% of the profiles I've tested after someone has reported it "bugging out" have worked flawless for me and other testers.
Also, if there's issues - they will be fixed. We'll never abandon a profile unless Blizzard does something to make it completely obsolete.

At the moment, InteractWithEscort is causing a lot of the problems, it hasn't been updated for the new bot version yet.

The reasoning being: at the moment we're in a very sluggish state with our profiles, we have a LOT of real-life occurrences holding us back from making the best out of the profiles.
Mjj23 is moving to a new home/location with VERY limited internet. FrostFever became a father. And I'm out on vacation for a few weeks.

Once Mjj23 comes back, he'll have InteractWithEscort down-pat and fixed.
Once I get back, I'll be fine-tuning the navigational coordinates that are causing the bot to stop at portals.
And once FrostFever gets back, he'll be tuning up his profiles and adding more.

Here is what I do;

I start off in Org.
It flies to Ratchet.
Takes the ship to Booty Bay.
Flies to the dark portal from Booty Bay.
I have to force it through the dark portal after its been sitting there for 10 minute.
Then it sit on the Hellfire side with "Loading profile..." at the bottom until I stop the bot.
Then I start the bot and it flies to Black Temple.
Once at Black Temple it enters and then it stops the bot.
Try to restart the bot and all I get is "Sit back and relax" popup non-stop.
I exit Black temple, I attempt to start the bot again and it enters and then the bot stops.

I hope this helps.

Working on it as we speak. Will edit this post if any progress is made.


EDIT:
All issues should be fixed.
Update your profiles via the SVN and reload them into the bot.

Fixed:
*Navigation error that was causing the player to get stuck on the way into the instance.
*"Is In Instance?" check that allows you to start the profile while inside of the dungeon.

Sorry for the delay, my tablet wouldn't read your log.

That looks to be the infamous InteractwithEscort.cs bug that has arisen since the last bot update.
We'll send an update soon that should fix it.

It looks like you're running a profile that doesn't use the behavior, you can remove the behavior out of your "Quest Behavior" folder until there's a fix.

Hi.
Trying to use "Undead Stratholme - Endless Farm (Rivendare loot only)" for mount. But when character reaches entrance with gates before dunge bot writes "Loading Tile\s" and nothing happens.
After some time bot writes: "Taking too long to reach Черный ход на площадь Старейшин--blacklisting for 3m00s
[08:43:30.281 D] Activity: Moving to hunting ground waypoint 'hunting ground center'" and start to "dance" :)

Am I doing something wrong?

The ID was there, just typed incorrectly (17389)

Should be fixed in the latest revision.

Some people say you do, some people say you don't.

I've personally ran the Ahn'Kahet: Old Kingdom for weeks straight on multiple characters with no bans.
Whereas I was banned in under 4 hours using gathering on a single character.

I could imagine some of the least ran dungeons being "more safe" compared to the more popular/highly ran dungeons.
Although seems that dungeon farming is becoming more popular (aside from the mass-Chinese farmers), so I could imagine the overall "safety" of it is slowly going down.

There's always tons of factors to take into consideration when discussing this stuff, and most of these factors are overlooked by most people.
Gathering in Jade Forest may be more risky than farming in Gnomeregan.
But farming in Gnomeregan may be more risky than Gathering in Eastern Plaguelands.
So it's hard to just say "This Is Better!"


If it were me?
I would choose dungeon farming over gathering any day.
  • No competition.
  • Not botting in front of people --- cross-realm publicity.
  • Privacy.
Of course the overall income on gold could potentially be lower and you have to deduct your repair bills.
But that has never been an issue on my server --- transmog gear sells like golden hotcakes!



Cross-dungeon full-run farming profiles would probably be the safest of them all considering that's pretty uncommon in the botting community.
and
Trash farm profiles that repeat the same code over and over would probably be the riskiest of them all. Considering that's pretty much like "Grinding Bot" except in-dungeon.

And are Cross-dungeon full-run farming profiles something you are planing for in the future?

also, do you think its safer to put the bot to sell everything, or mail greens to alt and Ah them, or does it matter?

No, all profiles in this pack are ran on the Questing botbase.

Yes, in fact - some of the oldest profiles on this pack (The instance transmog farms) already do cross-dungeon farming. But they are strictly for the transmog gear.
They lack a lot of our new code / feature / design and aren't recommended for other farming purposes.

If you look in the Northerend section, there's plans for a "Forge of Souls -> Pit of Saron -> Halls of Reflection" multi-run. It will be the first one (of its kind) to premiere on the pack.
The only reason it was delayed was because we were having code issues with Halls of Reflection.
 
would you plane add AQ40 and BWL?... AQ40 - gear, mounts and reputation. BWL - gear and pets.
