Not using the mounts i want reloaded

I can't get hb to let me choose the mount. it always goes for the turtle that gets stuck everywhere,

Just open settings and tools and type the name of the mount you want into the box,just make 100 % sure you spell it right.Click save and close.
If you are using GB just click on Bot config and look under the manage tab i believe and again enter the name of your mount.
 
Thank you John. I did that of course. And i am not using GB. I tried, with the name, and the id number, no change. It worked with other toons, that is why i find it strange that it does not work with this one. And i delete the cache so often, it is a wonder windows has time to set it back!

There are other options there as well. I don't have a copy of HB open right now, so I'm not totally sure what they are. There's a random option, an automatic option, and I think one more. They're check boxes. Try disabling them all. I know for certain that you won't need the random mount option. Try that with just the mount's name. For me I just type in the name of the mount, and honestly I don't even worry about caps.
 
click "Settings and Tools" and under the mounts section, turn off Random, and Automatically. after that type in the NAMES of the mounts you want to use in the boxes. try and stay away from rare or hard to get mounts. then try it again.
if it fails then please upload a new log as an attachment so we can see whats going on.

whats the mount you wanna use?
 
if you put something besides the horse and the turtle, does it still mount up?

i can't. HB changes it to 23228, the turtle. Funny enough, if I use kicks the problem does not appear.But as soon as i use cava again, the mount is changed to the turtle. I did not think it could be profile related. Did not encounter it before with other toons.
edit: i checked it with another toon, same problem. I am going to reinstall HB and cava.
edit2: new install did not help. The mount is changed to a default.
edit3: this is really not my day. Much too hot have underclocked my brain to 20%. I had used 458 with a horde toon. Tawny wind rider worked as a charm. gonna reinstall the other toon (I went over to an HB directory for each toon, to find logs more easily).
edit4: new install did not help with this one. As long as the mount is not needed, it stays on 458, but then it is changed to 23228. And yes it is an alliance toon.

That makes sense. But not with all toons. And i updated Hbrelog, restarting everything, and now the problem is gone. Gods, women and computers are all unpredictable i guess

edit: Forget it. It is back again. I have posted by Cava.
