I am an MMOMIMIC user looking to switch.

The banwaves have hit us hard. It seems that a new ban hits almost every 6 weeks. Unfortunately I have no more faith in the software.

I have heard about Honorbuddy, and I am interested. How are you fairing against the evil corporate entity which is Blizzard.

No "banwaves" there are certainly bans that occur due to player reports/irresponsible botters.

Overall it's certainly the safest public bot currently.
 
HB/GB :

No ban wave at all.

Only one, because a cheat program was using the same "thing" as GB.
But it was not GB that was focused :)

WoWMimic was humiliated by Cypher many times in public. I'm not surprised that you guys got banned every 6 weeks.

Well, HB is a bit more expensive, but much better anyway. Its last banwave is about 7-8 months ago, other than that, only a few banned cases here and there. So you have much more control over your ban rate.
 
Really ? I remember people yelling because tripwire didn't dc users, but there was already the tripwire
 
And the devs saying the tripwire didn't change because it was not GB that was focused...
 
I am thinking that honor buddy is probably the best way to go. But it gatherer safer? I would need to pick up herbalism and mining to get full use of gatherer. Since I am going to be botting on an alt on my main account (6.3 GS, 8000+ achievement points) which software would you recommend. I was thinking about getting honorbuddy and grinding eternal fire, which is what I did before. However, it seems like the risk of getting reported would be higher.
 
Sorry, I was also wondering, how easy would it be to level my herbalism and mining from 0 using gatherbuddy?
 
Use Gatherbuddy, the best farming bot.
Honorbuddy is just for non-farmers who just want to level/honor

Took me 2 days for herbalism/mining to 450, but it was at the beginning of GB :)
 
Yes in the profiles section, 1-75 75-2500 and stuff like that

At 300 you will use flying mount :)

Also, I HIGHLY recommend you lifetime, it is so great, cou can use Gb and HB at the same time, and for life.
Really useful believe me, you can farm honor, farm pets or crystilized, xp with quest AND farm like a chinese with GB :)

EDIT

And HB is much better for leveling 1-300 because it fights perfectly :)
 
Alright, I know that with MMOMIMIC most of the profiles for northrend were good, but lower level ones were terribad because of the lack of a flying mount.
 
Is there some sort of trial key so I can see what both bots are about, or is the only option really to buy a full year.
 
ground mount profiles are hard and most of the need babysiting
