Walter's Waltz Combat Routine

Evening all,

Looking at my Logs I have no major concerns as of now except that it seems that occasionally the bot likes to take a turn into a wall and stay there running in place more hours on end. No real reason for it to do it. Not sure if this is a bot issue, a CR issue, a mesh issue. Again I would post logs but it doesn't have an indicator in the logs that tells me what is going on, and I spend hours looking at my logs. I understand the reason this occurs sometimes, i.e. Makeb. But other times such on Belsavis or Corellia it will run awesome for a solid 3 hours and I go away and come back to find for the past 2 hours it ran into a wall and kept on running. I have it timestamped so I can average # of kills per hour and I can see that it would make a kill at say 2PM and then I check it and its running into a wall at 4PM with the last kill at 2PM. NExt time it does this I will post log but the logs have been almost 1/2 a gig again and I can't post them.

Make a new bot route LOL but that crazy yea I have had very good luck today with no hang ups on meshes. I was auto killing my self all day to see if we squashed vendor bug and it seems very close. I died like 20 times and kept going back out but then another time I died 2 times and was stuck at vendor LOL.

I hear ya, I only had one hang up today at a vendor and in reality the major hang ups for me are on Makeb which I know we need a new mesh for so that is why you don't see me griping real hard, because like GIJOE will tell you "knowing is half the battle" lol

Just updating everyone on progress just fixing a few spin issues with harvesting and I will post update. It just randomly does it for me but I think (maybe LOL) narrowed it down to a certain function having issues with treesharp and C interacting. Just be on look out! Sorry for delays but my real life has been just CRAZY BUSY and makes me REAL money ;D!

I update the bot a bunch just never posted about it. I have been working on a whole new combat routine that I will be replacing this old one. Harvesting for robots/creatures works and I HAVE FIXED THE SPINS 100%. Make sure to use the test build since that's what is updated. On my new routine I just need to transfer all combat profiles and update the rest. This old routine will just die and I will just keep the same name since I don't really care. I do this all out of pure enjoyment. I will be posting new routine soon and you all will be very happy since I have frame locked lots of treesharp. It just makes buddywing work amazing. No object errors, dictionary errors, and best part it works SUPER SMOOTH! I will also make a GUI since people seem to like those kinds of features.

Yea I am working on final bugs left in my new routine from the ground up. Once I solve them (just frame locking a few more things) I will let you all know. Current test build I still make tweaks here and there since it is still the main routine I use for grinding. Just a lot of real world this last week :D! I don't think I even play swtor anymore besides buddywing!

If you are looking for the latest one hes working one, none from what i can tell sounds like he is fixing a few bugs first.

Use test build. I will let you know when I have new routine with build up. I am working on bugs as we speak. Just I have to test and fix etc and test and test lol. Just need to make sure things work!
 
If i wanna use your combat routine but play by hand do you have a combat.xml for that or should I use the one provided with pure ?

You can use the same combat.xml since its just a blank file. Only issue is this routine is designed to self heal after combat and do harvesting etc. PURE is better for just walking around and doing combat since its designed that way. We really never put any thought into this routine besides optimal leveling/grinding. Hope this helps.

Haha, I directed him here from the Pure thread because he's only level 25 and the routine isn't coded very well for his level (he's missing key abilities).
 
Yea, that's why I was wondering because this profile works excellent for abilities when I let the kick's profile play, but If i want to hand do dungeons for faster leveling I'm trying to figure out which .xml to load for profile. If i load his blank.xml will that still use al lthe skills that your profile uses Walter ? if so then i'm golden if not then im sol lol
 
except walter profile doesn't use unload lol, it uses all other skills. where as pure profile only used unload haha
 
ok you're really mixing some stuff up here...

Walters and Pure are combat ROUTINES.

profiles are something completly different and have nearly NOTHING to do with the routines.

if you use blank.xml or CombatBot.xml or LazyRaider.xml they are all the same... and EMPTY profile.
so if you want to use walters OR pure in dungeons just use one of those profiles...
