Refining Collections for Different tanks and Tactic per map

Profiles with multiple tank -support is same thing, but we dont have it yet !

I just started wondering if I "refine" all collections and then there is possibility to get

  1. flank
  2. City
  3. Hill
  4. Midlle
  5. Mixed

or something like that so its easy to pick direct routes for "heavies" and long hill runs for mediums and lights.

Idea came out because there is enough material to do it and I think that benefits are bigger than effort (its COPY PASTE work, need look map.pdf too).

All tested Routes per map stay as they are now but after operation


Provohorka01 file contains

+ TEAM1 & TEAM2 left flank

Provohorka02 file contains

+TEAM1 & TEAM2 HillRun

Provohorka03 file contains

+ TEAM1 & TEAM2, straight line for heavies, with bush cover


and this will help then if we got some cool new tools before Christmas.

Sample directory, all routes can be used

Here is sample what I think, this is just temporal directory all stuff goes in [IIIZMIII]thread when ready.

Testing, to comment on the topic ...

So there is three generic flanks, one Hill for run and one Mixed(mixed is what can do more easily)

  1. high
  2. lower
  3. near train line

  1. hillrun

  1. mixed


Profiles are ready for use, just dont use AMX40 with MIXED... U die old age before route is finished...

Quite a big job, and maybe hard to keep updated with all the changes made constant to profiles to make them better. I personally would not start this project :) but you can ask for what ever you need if problems.
 
Map name needs to be present in the xml.file-name when you get 50 maps it can't be kept control over.

I got different PM from you, so can you give me Information Redshire and make Airfiled/Widepark -map? Sorry your actions remind me one other person who I know, it is "Confusing". :confused:

No, big job is TEST routes and most of those Routes are tested by Users. So why you are afraid if I do all job?

Refining them need just Patience and you must think that it is worth to try.

Map naming.

User can change map names, I update files and use naming because it make my work easier if you pay me, then I can think to change naming in your favour, if we got official recommendations then I follow them,

IF TEN USER COME HERE and say "WE ALL GIVE you REP+1 if you change map naming" then I change it...

for Community I make favor even if "I dont want it"

if you see that map naming must be different then Copy my Profiles, keep Author name inside, change names and keep them up to date.

ps. I forgot, when TL2Beta is ready, then Profile writing will be easier, I just "patch up" current situation so WE users can choose what We want... TL2Beta works better with profiles, not perfect just better!!!

naming them again

Started Profile name change. It will take ... dont know. After name change OLD collections stays as they are and NEW - collection is just BIG bunch of profiles.

YOU make your collections and if my Profile fails, I still look and FIX errors. (I really dont know what tanks you have...)

It might be unnecessary and waste of time but I see no other options because we really dont know when we got something better, :confused:.

So if you use Churchill&Matilda, slow and quite heavy tanks, direct route is good, yes?

Or have nice fast moving medium and want try shooting from Hill.... all are just suggestion, but soon you have possibility make choices(valita?)...

Is compass correct?

I dont know what names I will use but this list comes first my mind, so "01_karelia.west.flank.zig.zag_07.xml" just go west flank but try waste extra time(that route not exist!) etc.

Anyway extra information helps to choose route for own tank set and later when Profile writing got new features... well we see it then, :cool:.

North
East
South
West

high = highest route

low = lowest route

direct = most direct route

zig.zag = Route between "high" & "low" or mindless zigzag over whole map

hill = hill

City = city, but it have some limits

Village = village

Train = route follows trainline

Midlle = midlle Route, its good to make it "zig.zag"

Mixed = just mixed, suitable for fast moving tanks

mystery = I have no idea where it goes or come... but it works (low tier)


...dont know is it good or bad, but this seems to be good option

All Profiles are [released].

They are still partially tested and NOT Completed, but because they based on earlier Profiles, most errors are Fixed also map server seems have some updates what make Profiles work better.

Updates goes directly in DropBox -files, if bad errors are found there is [warning] then.

Yup, awesome job. But is there anyway to update some maps/waypoints? For example, on Ensk tank is getting stuck going long around city. Thanks.
 
Probably less confusing to use EAST or WEST instead of LEFT or RIGHT flank.

Where you can download these new profiles?

For the profiles of July have very many failures and tank stagnates in several places.
