As Amputations says, it's all excess code when this is designed to perform max dps. Fixed Haunt for <20%. Also changed haunt refresh point to use the actual cast time of haunt rather than a fixed < 1.5s. Should help keep the uptime.

The DoT refresh system is still a work in progress. It's easy in theory, but via code it's harder than you'd expect.

i know, because i help code dots refreshment for pqr. that's really hard work, but we made this with same mechanic as AffDots. Don't know how about this profile today, i code this in 5.1, now monk my main..

I've been using this awesome cc for quite a while now, and i noticed a flaw i hope you might be able to fix..

In destro the cc always seems to fire a chaos bolt once it has at least one ember,
even when dark soul instability is off cooldown and the setting "dark soul minimum ember" is set to 3 embers in the cc.

this also brings another problem, if the cc wants to switch to aoe in automatic mode the cc wil halt until it has sufficient embers for fire and brimstone since the cc spends all the embers immediatly (this tends to happen when switching from boss to adds).

I'd also love to see a setting that can force the cc to always keep at least an X number of embers in reserve before using chaos bolts (i prefer 2 or 3),
this could also be used to save up embers at 25~30% boss hp and then use shadowburn as often as the debuff resets until it's out of embers.

This is all mostly because of the Tier set bonus that gives an aditional chaos bolt if used while using dark soul instability, this works best with 4 embers up.

if you want i can post some log files, but since embers arent mentioned i doubt it would help

great CC. i top DPS weekly in my guilds raids. is there anyway to when the boss reaches 20% to stop casting chaos bolt and use shadowburn? he starts casting chaos bolt around 21 22% only to have shadowburn come up.

Again Millz my hats off. Just ran this into arenas as affliction (2s) with random people from trade, Nothing serious got up to 1600 and got hot streak with one. The dot rotation and management not to mention the cd usage is phenomenal. Easily pressures the other team. The real test is once I start doing some 3s.

Do you can implement a function, to set casting under 20%? in a Bossfight it isn't good, that may warlock don't cast malicious hold under 20%. =(

AJ have you updated? my routine definitely uses drain soul <20%. Make sure you are using Tyrael (preferred) or Lazy Raider.

For affliction PvP does it multi dot everything in sight for RBGs?
(an option for this would be nice if it doesnt}

No human can Multi Dot like a bot, Affliction would do craaaazy amounts of damage lol


And how does it know when to switch to a PvP rotation ? Seed of corruption is never really used in RBGs

how does this differ from the warlock routine in PureRotation? other than having pvp. i cant recall if warlocks have a pvp test rotation or whatnot.

Not worth cancelling the cast once it's started.

Sorry, but this makes no sense at all. Malicious Hold isn't an ability... Malefic Grasp? Why would you cast that < 20%? Drain Soul takes over at that point.

Enable AoE mode and it'll dot everything it can in range.

This is the PureRotation routine, there was just hundreds of posts around the forums wanting warlock routines and a lot of new people didn't look at AiO routines.


There's so much stuff that I'd like to do with a warlock routine that I just can't with PureRotation, so I'm busy writing a dedicated one, Demonic. Got the basics all working, busy leveling a new warlock with it from 1-90 and coding it as I go. Movement and everything is done, busy starting the GUI now. It'll look nothing like this when completed, but just figured people will be interested.

If however this would be another raiding cc I'd be interested, however i dont really see why you would build everything from scratch though since pure is already pretty good mind the few small issues it has.

If the new cc won't be for raiding I really hope you wont forget about pure,
it's pretty much the best warlock cc I ever had and it'd be a shame if it wasn't updated anymore..

Holy shit Millz this looks fantastic. Been using Pure and I just love it for my warlock, only dinged 90 a few days ago but already busy getting this bad boy ToT 25 man ready. A warlock spot has opened up in the guild so guess what I am going to switch to

And this new CC you are doing just made me confirm to myself that Warlock is the way to go lol.
