GB not saving config settings again, could a Dev please check this.

My GB is failing to save setting to the config file. I had this problem previously because the ".bin" file was mistakenly associated with VLC Media Player, so I reset all file associations and that fixed it.

with the new release of GB I am once again unable to save setting. GB will create a config.bin file but the file is 0 bytes.

The file association is set to Notepad.
I am using Windows XP, Service Pack 3.
.NET Framework 3.5
something something Runetime Enviroment 2008


I am a fairly tech savvy computer user but inexperienced in software so I need someone to help me figure this out. Just tell me what to do and i'll do it because its getting old having to type out my login and settings for three accounts multiple times a day.

EDIT: additional information.

I use the GS version of gatherbuddy
Folder tree is C:\Program Files\Gather Buddy
the only items within the folder are GatherBuddy, Badnotes.xml, Debug.html, and config.bin
all files function properly except config.bin

bloody hell, the moment I finish putting this thread up it magically works.... I'm at a loss here because this has happened several times in the past and I cannot figure what causes it to happen or what fixes it.

just updated last night, nuked the old one completely and put the new one in, wasnt saving last night but it was too late to expect a response. i ill bump this thread in the future if it happens again.
