WoW just patched. HB compatible?

Wow is currently undergoing maintenance. Blizzard just updated WoW and a new patch needs to be downloaded. Is HB currently compatible with this new patch? If not, is there an ETA?

These patches every other week are kinda getting real pathetic.
 
I would say it wont be compatible for a few hours after wow is back up just based on prior experience from devs here.

Yes, and what bothers me more is that the Bossland team who develops Honorbuddy doesn't even start working on a patch for HB until AFTER the patch is already live. They could be using the PTR to get a patch ready for the live server--just like many addon developers do. That's why it took about 6 weeks for HB to work with MoP when it debuted. :(

with as rich as these guys are at this point, you would think they would just hire a top teir developer to work on it 24/7 and just go sip pina's in Tahiti. Guess its the same principle as why bill gates still uses 3rd country customer support. /sigh

no ETA on a patch that did nothing but allow for Korean localization. I heard the howling deaths of kittens everywhere.
 
They are trying to make sure everything is working fine and Blizz didn't come out with a new patch that can tell if you are botting, and mean while you guys are here complaining about that...

They can just slap on that HB is allowed to be used on the current WoW release, but they care about their paying customers and want to make sure none of you get banned.

Uhm.... Are you retarded...?
This is a fix for a korean update (Read the wow update log). There is no PTR for anything like these small updates.
Oh, and by the way, they do use PTR, but even then the builds will still change so they still have to redo everything. Ignorance is bliss.
 
The current PTR is testing 5.4 release. These mini-patches do not have PTR's, and they never will.

Do you even know how this works? Because it seems like you are just saying shit. Ill help enlighten you so we can reduce your ignorange:
1) Not everything in the PTR goes live therefore it would be useless
2) The devs update the offsets (those changing are the things that make HB not attach) immediately, they don't release it until they know it is safe. Why do they do this, because when a patch come out you have do download something. That something is an update version of the game and maybe something else like a way to detect the bot. The devs are simpy making sure that your account is safe.

I hope that in the future you will not post any more stupid shit about this, but I seriously doubt that.

Damn you must be a dev at blizzard if you know that the patch is only for the Koreans.
Also you point makes alot of sense, im sure that when blizzard come out with a new dection method it will be stated in the parch notes. Just like when the DEA does a drug bust they let the bad guys know before they do it

The funny part about all the bitching and wining about the bot not being available is when you paid for the service, you agreed to their terms. That includes maintenance time just like Blizzard has their maintenance time. Sorry it can't fall directly in line with when WoW is down, but I would rather the Dev's take their time than me lose 2 accounts. Talk about a lot of wasted time!! An account I have had since Vanilla would be gone.

The sad part is... I just bought the service last night and ran it all night with bgbuddy.. Very satisfied so far! Cant wait till it works again! Only bought one month just to test it. How is the questing bots? Are they slow at things? or human like? Also this is my first time ever botting on wow! Played for 3 years.

Questing is the only way I level and I have been using this bot for years. Trust me, you will be spending more money on it after you get the hang of how it works. Especially when using it for raiding.

IMO Not worth it buying only a month.

Questing is fine, not super speedy but it gets it done, you will get used to it.

Worst part for you right now is learning all the aspects of it.
 
Well $7 is not really anything to me. I work all day so I dont have time to actually play for hours on in to get gear on level up my characters! Will for sure get lifetime once I actually get the hang of everything!
