Just wanted to say this is an awesome bot base. I'm currently have a 1580 2v2 rating because of Lazyboxer and Tunah's awesome CR's. Thanks for making this awesome bot base. You rule FPS!

Sent from my ADR6350 using TheBuddyForum mobile app

You're using it in 2v2??? I never thought about that. Shoot a video and send it my way, I'm keen to see how well it performs.

View attachment 97204Trying this in arena, at 1st it would mount when i mounted.. do buffs etc.. then it stoped doing buffs, then stopped mounting.. now wont follow..

lol

The only errors in the log file are CC (TuanHAPaladinSpecialEdition) and HB mesh / navigation.

EDIT: I can see a single botbase error, and thats to do with picking up / turning in a quest.

Close and restart it. You have to do that each time you zone into / out of an instance / arena. That is an HB bug and nothing I can do about it, the same issue is present with many other botbases.

Also some CCs will handle things differently, but as it initially work it should continue to work.

The errors in the log don't indicate any issue / fault with the botbase base.

Digging into the botbase now. It's pretty minor, but right now the bot seems to ignore the leader follower distance if Combat Follow is set to always? I set Follower distance to 1 with Combat Follow set to always at 30 yards, and the bot would only follow at the combat follow range (despite not being in combat) until I disabled that.

Currently running with Honorbuddy v2.5.7248.625 (Release) and the Singular CC.

Ill try that, So what your saying is..

Each time I load in a Game I have to turn HB on and load everything?

Thats correct.

Combat Follow is supposed to completely override regular follow. I might rework it and do things a little different. The principle behind it is when the leader moves out of a void zone or away from AoE damage then the slave follow.

Ah okay, I guess I wasn't thinking about it correctly. I was thinking that combat follow needed to be enabled for it to move in combat at all but that's obviously not the case. My bad :D

The way I use it:

Regular follow distance 20 yards.
Combat follow distance 1 yard.
Set a key binding for Combat Follow.

Lets say a boss starts doing some kind of AoE you have to run like shit to a specific area. I press the key bind to enable Combat Follow, the slave moves to 1 yard away from the leader, as the leader is currently running to a specific place the slave follows (regardless of combat). Once the specific event is finished I toggle Combat Follow off and go back to normal combat.

Well I tried ur method.. it seems to only work when they hit the bot.. When they go on me, hejust stands back does nothing till I die.. Then they go on him and he engages, Im honestly extremely fustrated with this, been messing with it for hours.

Here are my settings:

Targeting: Assist Leader
Face Target : always
Move to Target: always .. : distance 30

Leader: My name.
Distance: 60
Maintain leader los: always

Combat Follow: Always
Distance: 1-10 .. tried it all there.

Combat Assit only: disabled
Force Combat Start: Always

everything else is stock..

Ive been getting que, getting in match, then starting HB. Not working constantly.. idk.

Disable combat follow. The reason for that is in the last few posts.

I just wanted to give a shout ot to Fpsware for a job well done! I have used this bot several times in BG's with fabulous results! I am running a 3 acct setup with 2 DPS and 1 Healer. I play the DK, get healed by the MW Monk, and have my Boomkin dropping bombs on bitches. So much fun! Thank you Fpsware!

Edit: Just tried this in Arena 2v2 and it works really well. Just make sure you keep melee off your healer. WTB the kiting addon I keep talking about :-)

Sent you a donation, this is an awesome multiboxing tool. Hope it'll be maintained at the very least to work with future honorbuddy releases.

So far I've been trying to get keybinds to work and haven't succeeded so far, but I'm sure I will figure it out.

Is there currently any need to run it on the leader? I've been trying to get keybinds to work and haven't succeeded so far but I'm sure I will figure it out.

Currently there is only 1 global key bind. Global key binds work when pressed from ANY window. Local key binds only work when pressed from the WoW game window they are applied to. Its on my to do list to add more global key bindings.

Thanks for the feedback, and the donation.

Kiting behavior would primarily be the responsibility of the CC.

Until recently when I saw a couple people have used it in PVP I had not given this any thought, as its primarily designed for PVE combat assistance I never expected it to be used in PVP. I'll put a little thought into that and see if I can improve the PVP support side of things.

Hmm, wondering if this is currently intended:
I set all questing features to 'Ignore' on one character, then talked to a quest giver on my main. The bot ran up to the quest leader, and opened a dialog (and did not accept the quest which is what I wanted). But when I ran away on my main, the bot would take baby steps away from the quest giver, and when it got out of range it would run back and talk to the quest giver. It would repeat this behavior until I untargeted the quest giver on my main, and at that point it would follow me. Not a big deal, but it seemed kinda strange.

Stopped the bot after it did this for a bit, log if it's wanted:

Yes and no.

Yes. When the leader targets a quest giver, the slaves evaluate if this quest giver has anything for the slave; can they turn in or pickup any quests etc. If they can, they will move to the quest giver and interact them. While the leader is targeting this NPC the slaves will perform this action, check, move, interact.

No. If this is disabled in the UI they should not even move to interact.

There appears to be a bug that regardless of the setting the slaves are moving to interact.

What behavior did you expect to see with this setting turned off? Personally if the setting is turned off I don't want the characters to move and interact with the master's target.

EDIT: I'll probably add an additional option "Move and Interact with target".

Sounds good, I only disabled those features so I could include an over leveled character in my group without them picking up quests.
