WW Barb - IK Set?

Ok....So, all 4 of my barbs are using the IK set to get more fury generation. I use it alongside the animosity passive in order to build fury to use.

Having recently realized that other pieces of gear are MUCH better stat-wise.....how do I compensate for the lack of fury generation I'll lose with the IK set?

Sorry ahead of time for newbish questions....
 
im using ik aswell,tryed gear with alot better dps,ress healt etc but ik is better for me,my bots dying alot doing nothing becouse of the fury farming mp 10 now with 1300 iph skorn 3% life steal 1k life on hit 60k heal 500~550 all ress with less than 4 deads hour
 
well ... my barbs run IK also. Simply because it's so cheap to get them to run effectively. 150 mil and I get results like this:

If you don't mind, what do you have in your other slots?
 
lacuni bracers -> crit str stam
random legs -> str stam ar 2socks
vile ward -> str stam
rings + amu -> attackspeed, crit, average damage, stam ar... balance it out
Skorn -> 450+ str, min 190%critdmg

specc is rend, WW, wotb
 
Thing is, 700 IPH is really low. For 50 mil extra (200 mil total) you can get a set which yields you ~1100-1200 IPH.
210k dps
57% crit
492 CHD
62k hp
520 AR
6200 armor
(paragon level 95, buffed by passives, Skorn)

That is only with 2 LK pieces. If you insist in having 4 just ignore my post.
 
I only use chest and gloves on my barbs. I run MP10 with LS skorns, WW/rend and they don't have fury issues. I spend about 150-200 mill on their gear and they have roughly 220k dps, 64k hp, 500 ar and 6k armor each (unbuffed).
 
im only running belt / chest.

running 2 p100 barbs 1200 iph
mp100 - mp9 barb is 1100iph
I use attack speed skorns, extended rend, brawler.


eirikzor is right

you can spend 200m and farm mp8-10 easily.
 
IK Chest is unbeatable. then you have IK gloves which can be very good (trifecta) or even just AS for cheap. Belt is also very good and cheap for high stat (240str+vit). this gives you 3 set bonus for melee dmg reduction. this way you can use mempo for helm (much better stats than IK helm), and ice climber boots (better stats than ik boot). but ice climber can get expensive with move speed, so i just stick with IK boot. because i dont want to use inna pant, too much EHP lost in the pant slot (pant can have up to 300 vit, + AR, etc).

all up to you ,barb is best class to bot with. so many options.

What is "stam"?
 
stam = vit ... sry... good old WoW times got me there :P
 
Gotcha,

I would have thought that too if I realized it was spelled stamina instead of stanima..... I need to go play some more wow and catch up on my spelling :)
 
Oh.

So, is there gear to focus on that gives more Fury per second since I'm gonna consider dropping some IK pieces? And maybe just use 2 pieces to get the AR bonus?

just use IK chest IK gloves for belt get Witching hour and boots ice climers helm mempo 200m = 1300 iph 0 deaths mp10 act 2 oasis

personally i have managed amazing crafts which have replaced my shoulders/bracers indefinately. with the extra de's you guys should have laying around you can pull off godly crafts.
my crafts-
8as/9crit/31 cd/ 280str/50vit gloves
200 str/300vit/80 ar vit shoulder
34 max dmg/280 str/10 crit/80cd ammy
and to make up the lost atack speed from lacunis you can plug in witching hour/inna's temp but this type of build costs extra cash.
and to anyone trying to craft trifecta ammys, i've only managed 1 in ~2000 ammy crafts and its not nearly as high damage as it should
good luck to any crafters! im curious to hear any other success stories. my crafting has improved mainly my ehp immensely.
