Ill def try this. I love your CC's and im sure ill love this. Would be great to work with LFR heals/dps setup for insta q.

Hey Fpsware

Firstly, this rocks! it worked so well for me i've not used it for any LFG yet but i will do soon

Just in response to the posts about them finding their own route, i have also noticed this, it wasn't a problem as the bot sorted itself out but it seems that if i am playing the leader and i go up a "jagged" path like up rocks, the bot(Follower) seems to bypass this and try to run around the outside/find a diff route... Something to do with pathing ? I don't know just thought i'd add my two cents ha

Thanks
Kai
Sounds like HB rather than this.

Thats one of the reasons this was developed. I spent many hours using this in LFR.

This is answered in the very first post. ALL navigation is handled by HB.

Possible to handle the updates through SVN? :)

I was also going to ask about this.

Hoping that HonorBuddy won't be down too long so that I can start trying out playing my main with 4 follower bots in instances.

Will/does the bot support moving out of fire, slime or whatever else that might be popped down on the ground by a LFG/LFR boss?

No. And if you read the numerous previous posts that deal with this you'll get your answer.

Upcoming changes in the next build.....

You can now choose between HB navigation and CTM movement (needs a lot more testing, a few odd bugs present)
If the leader goes out of range (around 80-100 yards), (..often happens with my miners and herbs when they go on a harvesting spree and get further and further away from the leader.) when the character needs to return to the leader they will move to the leader's last known location, in some test cases this has been 500 yards away).

Love this idea, you've inspired me to work on my dungeon grinding team. I'm going to play around tonight. Will you add any unique profile syntax logic? ie: in certain boss fights, Bot-A needs to stand xyz, Bot-B stand xyz so on and so forth.

Thanks again!

As I've mentioned before this botbase does not use profiles and will not provide any boss encounter logic.

Roger, sorry haven't read through any of this. Just initial post. Thanks for the clarification.

Navigation issue when zoning:

Those of you who have used this over the last week will be familiar with the navigation issue when you zone in/out of an instance. This issue is still present with the latest build of HB. But, there is now a work around. Instead of closing and restarting HB simply hit the Stop button, choose another botbase (I choose LazyRaider) hit Start. Then hit Stop, change back to Fpsware LazyBoxer and hit Start. Navigation will once again be working. The fact this works is an indication that something is wrong in HB and not the botbase.

I did not have to close HB before the latest patch. I just pressed Stop and Start again and then it worked again. Don't know how it is now.

New build released. LOTS of additions and changes. This is a major update so it might be best to backup your existing build just in case things go horribly wrong and you want to restore it.

Make sure you confirm all your settings as some values have changed, this will result in some settings showing blank values.

Things of note:
* Implementation of CTM navigation OR HB navigation. On the advanced tab. This setting can be changed on the fly. NOTE: CTM movement will simply click to move to the leaders location, even if its 50 yards away.
* Disable HB stuck handler logic. On the advanced tab. The last few builds of HB tend to think its stuck when its not, this has become VERY bothersome. I simply disable it and unstuck characters myself.
* Revised harvest logic. Bigger, better, stronger, faster. I had the technology.
* Combat Assist Only mode. When this is enabled the slaves will only perform combat rotation and follow the leader. Good for instances where you don't want them doing anything else.
* Combat Assist Only GLOBAL key binding. Personally I have an individual key bind for each of my 4 characters; CTRL+1, CTRL+2, CTRL+3, CTRL+4. This way I have complete control over who does what.
* Loot ranges for both world and instance / raid. I suggest World 40 yards, Instance 20 yards.
* Move to target distance. This is the maximum distance away from the target the character will be when in combat. Personally I set this at ~30 yards.
* QUEST FETCH! Want your character to pick up or turn in all quests from ALL visible NPCs, then turn this on.

I've been running this on 4 characters for the best part of the day and its been performing BEAUTIFULLY! Both with questing and instances.

I don't need to mention this AGAIN, but I'm going to anyway....
1. This botbase does not use any profiles, and probably never will.
2. This botbase does not have any boss fight reaction logic; e.g it will not move out of void zones and shit. That is not the intention of this botbase.
3. This is not designed for AFK use. It is designed so that you can have salves follow your around main character and assist you. That main character can be manually played or it can be another botbase, but again its not designed for AFK use.
4. Make sure you read points 1 - 3 over again. I'm tried of answer these questions.

So does anyone have any feedback about the latest build?
