It would be wrong to create more profiles subforums

For example: TD profiles Subforum, artillery, Light Tank, etc ....

ASi dentrdo of each subforum we have everything more organized.

That is not the same play with a lightweight tank with TD xD

regards

For one map you can have one active profile, in active profile on "Current Build" is only "type=Normal", "type=Normal" can be used by all tanks except Artillery, "type=Artillery" is used only by Artillery when rest types are ready then "type=TD" is used only by Tank Destroyer, "type=Scout" is used only by Scout... other rules how Bot pick Hotspots from profile are not clear for me, but Im sure that when they will be released they are Logical and Easy use!

So why we need more SubForums when all kind off tanks can be same Profile.xml.

My concern is -Who will write profiles for 40 maps, update them, track errors and implement new features them when they arrive. I can make lot of more profiles but when new Features drop in then you have FOUR different tank types on one Profile, then comes map updates from wot... so handling all those, huh.

So first all maps needs few profiles then its time to get Plugin what make profile load Random, then maybe some one find way implement "Random Hotspot" inside profile.... so maybe we continue this conversation asking -Who start doing more Profiles...

glommy...

ps. Yes, this is Good thing to think that TD, Artillery, Scout and Normal tanks must be planed inside Profiles, some one just must DO IT.

Nope, Aevitas told all of us that its coming... just build more profiles so when those new features are ready then its easy to add them in old profiles. If there is only two or three profiles for ten maps its then quite useless to wait more features, but ten profiles per map sounds better.

BTW, tested 01_karelia profiles and it looks quite nice(uh, make it myself ;) ). KArelia map seems easy only few stuck place and no "detour".

Glommy

ps. guide is growing, check it now and give more ideas what U dont know or wondering -How to?

i think because type tank is hardcoded by a number in garage set up, we could add a logic to the code like if typetank=number(x1,x2,...x12) then use (tag team1, typetank)hotspot blahblah...

But first we should fix each typetank number and their role (scout, td, arty)..

So when registering a map and automation could be create in plugin to switch between typetank used when creating the hotspots...and automaticaly adding the apropriate tag to the hotspot ?

OMG, U forgot "warpspeed" on ;), maybe ... I got it. Idea is good but I think its usefull if you create "not_recyclable" Hotspots... if you create many hotspot on map and document them, then anyone can change "type" properties, only spot placement maters. Got my idea?

I must add, with Plugins we can do many "Random", "Smart"... things. But smarter the Plugin is more difficult to Build it is, more experience it need, but "random" chaos easy create is... uh, is this "Yoda" style talk.
