level to 80 by hand

Hi guys, was wondering, how long does it take to level to 80 by hand.. like whats the fastest possible.. someone told me he can level to 80 by hand in like 5-6 days with no RAF or any help but with just quest.. is that possible?
 
Probably is if you lock yourself in a cupboard with your PC for 6 days and don't come out.

I believe without RAF it will take a more 'normal' WOW player (I.E not a no-lifer) a few more days than than to reach 80!

I would imagine getting dungeon boosts constantly is the fastest way to level.
 
haha yea, that just what a power leveler told me, i guess its legit then, cause a bot cant level that fast on its own right? as in.. dont need to wry about that account having flagged for botting I mean.
 
6 days playtime = ~12 days fulltime working for a powerleveler. That rate is normal. And leveling a char is quite fun, IMHO, just like you play the game. I did it all the time in the past.

Nowadays, I'm just lazy, so I give that job to the bot.
 
I used to level that way:
1-60 RAF boost - 15 hours
60-68 never counted it at all, but botting seems efficient way xD
68-80 i used to spend around 48 hours for that by hand on server 1st rogue, other chars didnt count

I made 2 characters less than 6 days each with 1-60 RAF, 60-65 bot, 66-67 hand, 67-70 bot, 70-80 around 50/50 botting and by hand.
100% by hand would most likely be sth around 5 days played of leveling.

Also it's possible to use RAF boosting till around 67 level, you lock exp at 59 level on "main account" and still run around with recruited acc, most TBC instances are 55 level req.

Ive not done it, but I believe you can do RaF Boosting through the dungeons in the game, you need an 80 to take the noob toon through them all and it can be done in 16 hours or so.

The longest part is getting the toon to level 14ish so you can repeatedly run them through DM etc.
 
I just finished my 4th 80 on my main account, by hand.
1-60 was done within 12 hours by using RAF instance boosting
60-70 took around 18 hours by questing
At 70 I made a little stop, because I wasnt sure if I wanted to keep it at 70 and make a TBC-style twink, but then I decided to move on to 80
So 70-80 took me around 35 hours with questing

In total thats around 2 days and 18 hours I think

Took me months to get my first toon to 80 but I am only a recreational player. I bought HB because I wanted another 80 and cba to level by hand! The thought of grinding that out again...........well, I can't think about it.
 
I remember taking well over a year casually questing my first char in Vanilla :D
 
Yes it's possible before I discovered botting I used to make my toons in 5 days/ played with 32 hour straight playing. 4 hours sleep and then play for another 16 hours until my body crashed from sleep deprivation. I have no life... I know, but I used to sell accounts for a living. With raf its possible in 2-3 days /played if you played non stop. Hope this answers your question. Remember kids don't be a shane don't play wow for 32 hours straight! L2 bot.

I still to this day have no life but It isn't all manual now :P And I do get my sleep.... sometimes.... ok fine never.
 
I'm actually contemplating levelling a new toon (on my main account) by hand just to see what its like. I haven't manually leveled since around the middle of BC.
 
They made it considerably easier since bc. They dumbed down the game by at least 30 iq points to the point where eventually you'll be able to play the game with your penis.
 
no, but it would make botting kinda obsolete now wouldn't it? :P
