Safe to Skin mobs?

So, i want my new character to be full skinning. I know Grinding and GB are the easiest ways to be caught botting, but im wondering, if i got skinning as a profession, would skinning all mobs while questing flag my account up as 'gathering' or would they just think, theres another person leveling a character and skinning them?

TLDR - Will i be at a higher risk of getting banned, if i tick 'Skin Mobs' While levelling.

You will be a-okay skinning away while you quest. I skin for ~2-3 hours a day (purely skinning) and I'm good to go. Cheers!

Thanks for this mate, and i guess its the same answer for mining minerals while questing, because if im right, blizz only pickup on it if you are mining constant ore for 3 hours straight in a certain path right? so really, if i happen to pass an ore with mining, it should be ok to mine?

Hi, Razer1993,

I've always collected harvests while questing--herbing, mining, skinning. You don't get rich doing this, but you don't get banned either. (Or, at least that has been my experience, and the experience of a few others I know).

Be sure you have "ninja loot" turned off, so you don't draw whispers or make other players angry.

Yeah i did think annoying other players and then running into a wall for 20 seconds wont go down well Thanks for the info, just so i can hopefully level my characters are 90, i can mine manually
