my db window is telling me i need a profile, well i've read the help text and been browsing this forum and i still not sure what to do
i have a hard core bot char geared and ready to go, but im not sure where to get a profile.
hlp pls
 
which folder does this profile go into?

e: so im just stuck on the "load a profile " screen, i have a few downloaded to try out, but i dont know how to apply them.
do they go into a certain folder to show up as an option?

When you unzip the contents of your demonbuddy.zip, it extracts into a demonbuddy folder right? Inside your demonbuddy folder, you should find a couple of folders. Namely:

1) Profiles -> Profiles go in here
2) Routines -> Trinity Combat Routine goes in here
3) Plugins -> Plugins go in here.
4) Logs

im re-downloading right now, i didnt have a file location "profiles", this is probably why it has been so frusterating.
 
you can keep your profiles wherever you want

DB wont create a "Profiles" folder

ok
game is in windowed mode
open db/input key, it works
Click "load"
i brows to downloaded file(extracted into my db file)
open downloaded file
it has several different "XML document's"
click open
err msg recieved: ] Failed to load profile: Path to profile element is not valid; file not found

I just deleted/downloaded a new copy of db, and only a single profile diablo 3 a1 v5.6
i feel like an idiot here and not sure what im doing wrong?

Also redownload v5.7 from act1 version 5.6 that your using was bugged @ two different locations, and was fixed in the latest patch.... The bug would cause your character to stand there and possibly die. (this being a hardcore character, I would not want that on my conscience.)
