5.3 - Shuffling has died, what should we goldfarmers do?

As many of you know/have experienced, Blizzard has been catching up with us and alot of botters ( mostly GB2 users) have been banned.

I was botting on 4 accounts in the beginning. 2 farmers, 1 shuffler, 1 AHbuddy. When bans hit my 2 farmers I created 2 new accounts, leveled them up and started farming with my suspended and new accounts. After 2 days I was banned. And yes, I was botting 'safe' enough

Only managed to get one account back so far.

I've been asking myself the question: what should we goldfarmers do in 5.3? I'm on one of the highest populated servers (EU) and ores are overpriced and there are barely any farmers. All my income came from shuffling. I was thinking about farming cloth with private profiles.

Any suggestions?

Not sure what you should do, but if you talk about it enough in open chat, you can expect that too, to be fixed in the next patch. Prime example of why so many botters get banned.........lack of common sense.

I think they are honestly tracking how many ingame/mails are being sent ingame... I imagine this is how it's detected. It would be the easiest method. I bet if you sent half to 1 party and half to another on another account, it wouldn't be tracked as easily. The other possibility is CTM in the sky... That's not possible by a player... Kind of a stupid feature if you ask me with HB to use that.

i never use the ah i questbot with my accounts and make gold trough questing i only make my profession on my main to make things for my self and my own profiles but i never use the ah only if i wanna buy something like nice mounts i already got the spectral tiger witch i always wanted

For the millionth time, CTM is NOT detectable server-side. Your character's velocity is a vector (it has direction and magnitude) and that vector looks the same no matter whether you're using CTM or WASD.

i know xd it was fun back in the days farming 20 hours a day in uldem lol it took 1 month to get me banned by public profiles but ye i know if im going hardmode again with gatherbuddy my accounts wil be gone in a notime even with my own profiles.

20k gold every 6 days. Thats about 100k gold every month / per account.

100k gold = about 42 euro's for the way i sell it.

Another possibily is farming old school herbs and ores, but as we don't know for sure how blizzard is detecting us, this might be unsafe aswell.

yeps i have 5 accounts atm farming for months i make 17k gold 15k gold per class 1 main account with all classes for me to play thats evry 6 days like 80k gold without being worryed about getting banned you can questbot for 12 10 hours without a problem but 2 hours 3 hours using gb2 or bgbuddy could get you a ban i do bg also manually i just let the bot heal or dps with special edition of tuanha and purerotation for my priest healer shammy etc. so evry month 1.5 month you could have 880k gold 700k gold without being banned i bot a class in 6 days 10hours a day botting i let it rest at night and sometimes i logout for an hour or so and then relog

Make your bots behavior mimic that of hand players. GB2 for 1-2 hrs, instance farm a few hrs, run new toon questing a few hrs, etc. It's easy to pick the black sheep out of a white flock. You need to dye your sheep white so to speak. AND DON'T USE PROFILES WITH LIMITED HOTSPOTS THAT REPEAT EVERY HOUR OR TWO.

i set my toons up to all log in random times (after the first has started) and they are all set up on profile routes doing random orders of dailies dungeon buddy xmog runs gathering and they also have a custom profile to run around sw/org (something i do irl) they are all in a legit guild and i throw a couple of extra profiles in and out here and there. Lets look at blizzards suicide check list
1. Ban all botters CHECK
.. wait make sure the price of mats goes 3x above reasonable so no one can afford them... ok next
2. Piss off legit subs with bad game changes and get them to quit CHECK
Alright perfect, now lets just make the game free to play, we're tired of handling money.

My ability to shuffle is not gone, you're right. The fact is that before the major banning began, I was prospecting 1200 ~ stacks of herbs/ores a day from one farmer and my own toons. Now? Prices are atleast 2x + what they were before and the demand is 1000 times higher than the supply. Have you seen trade chat on a busy server? Atleast 10 ppl spamming for a supplier.

I'm not looking to make money without a bot actually I have only been using HB for a short amount of time and I have always been wealthy on WoW

100k + a day doing nothing, thats what I call 'easy money'

As I have said before. Blizzard probably only bans 50% of the people they know bot. If your 15 bucks a month outweighs the damage you are or aren't doing to their game....you won't be bothered. So if your making tons of gold your probably putting a dent in your servers economy and they are going to cut you loose.
