Prices are crashing?

Well with the new patch coming, seems like the price of everything is crashing. Trillium bars, ghost iron ore, gems. I am worried due to the fact that I spent a whole bunch of money and was not able to get rid of it in time. Is this a normal thing by the end of a patch? Will prices rise again?

well according to my readings, no new raids are coming out =s

a 3rd spec talent tree is being released, which may cause ppl to play an additional tree which means they would have to farm that gear.
there will be scenarios and dungeons with 496 ilvl gear coming out
pvp new season - was also made easier to acquire gear for all 3 talent specs

thats about it, worries me that no new raids are coming out though >.<
