yes

No, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I have experienced the same situation multiple times. I think they just use chat and cant really monitor what you are doing. They were only there to reply to ur ticket, and since tickets take 5 days nowadays to get back to I would suspect a lot of players are afk.

Anyway, from experience nothing ever happened to me.

lol, if he/she didn't see you botting then what's the problem.

look, these people are paid to go through a queue and resolve issues. they don't have time to sit and be like "this persons not responding to me, i better port to his location and observe and see if his botting". they don't have the time for it.

should you be worried? no.

those GM's have a specific job and its NOT bot hunting.

Thanks guys think you could be right, got an email from the same support person saying all was ok happy my problem is now sorted
i expect as G said, they just make contact and move on to next ticket

Can only confirm that nothing will happen, in most cases they are probably happy anyway that the client doesnt respond^^

So you saying a GMs job is not to check for bots and ban them?
I wonder who is banning us.

You missed an important word there :)

This happened to someone in the forums here, and his account is perfectly fine. He was actually joking about how stupid Blizzard is, so nothing to worry about

I bet it's a computer that throws up a flag which is looked into by a group of people that work for blizzard. Not all GM's are in this group I would assume. I bet a lot of GM's are just customer service reps.

Aye, I wouldn't worry, If you had a ticket open, then the call was expected. I've missed a few GM calls for tickets in my time, they just move on to their next job/ticket..

Wouldn't worry mate, I've been contacted by blizz while botting before nothing was done. This particular time i left my bot running while going to the shops for a couple mins.

^^This.

they train different ones to do different things. like i said, the ones that respond to THOSE kind of tickets probably have a queue and a timed on how many they do or how long it takes to solve an issue, just like they do with call centers. the ones that deal with game breaking bugs, and determine if your a bot are more like Teir #2 level phone support, they are given more freedom and access level and reign in game to pass information on to programmers and developers.
