Profile Builder[Early Alpha Release]

I would like to anounce the first public Alpha version of Profile Builder.
This is a standalone application while not as graphically fancy as some of the
other profile making tools on the forums. I built this to assist in making profiles.

At this time it will allow you to build quest profiles. Yep, thats what its mean to do
nothing more, nothing less.

The way this application works is to generate a complete questing profile, while at the same time
storing all the profile information, allowing you to pickup the profile at a later time to work in it.

You will need to install the MYSQLConnector/Net , this is to be able to connect to the back-end database holding
quest information.
I will post the links to the required software at the end of the post.

Current Version:
1. Build and export quest profiles.
2. Validate that you have the required pre-quests before you add a new quest.
3. Ensuring that the next quest pickup will be available, by adding dynamic grinds before the next level up of quests.
4. Autoupdates to the latest version, you will not be able to run a old version.

TODO:
1. Import profiles from disk.
2. Generate quest over rides.
3. Build Private profiles.
4. Update the database, to include some more quest info(At present there are some quests not included).
4. Much More.

Some items on the TODO list are in progress, while others may take some time to complete.

If you dont like the application, let me know what you dont like, and what you would like to see in the

Seems there is are some issues with people installing MySQL Connector.
At this time, I have updated the manifests toinstall the right stuff.
But I am not sure why the issues are still happening.

Currently, the following config is supported, and built for
Windows Vista 32bit, With MySQL Connector installed.
If you don't have this installed, im sorry but i cant help you.

In the next version V2.0.0.0 I will have support for other platforms. Till then, If you dont have that setup, your on your own.

As far as progress is going, I am making good headway on V2 of this where I am able to provide you with more details for quests.

I cant get this to run it errors out on me im runing windows 7 64 bit probley because i cant get MySQLConnector to install any sugestions on how to get this working ?
 
The one on the website should install in 64bit.

Let me know if you still have issues once you install it.

It begins to install but near the end it does a roll back and says it ended prematurely and didnt make any changes
 
Im not sure, mate, should check out the mysql site, they may have some more details there.

The error means you dont have mysql connector installed.

ok there isnt a 64 bit version and i cant get the 32 bit to install ill try and see if there is another application i can get to work with it
 
I will see if i can bundle the required connectors with the app.
 
Very interesting application :)
I think I'll have a go at it if we get somewhere with the 64 bit things.

Think for 64 bit users that might be the only way to use it ive tried doing a search for a 64 bit version all i come up with is one made for deviant art.
 
I could probly build it, since, you can get the source code for it,

But let me keep looking for the solution

No problem really looking forward to using this one it looks to be more advanced profile builder than others ive tried
 
Finding a solution to the issues your having wit MySQL is proving pretty hard.
Im not sure what direction you would like to go here All i can say is, from the posts i have seen it installs fine in 64bit,
But seems like you guys have issues, I will keep investigating.
If you find a solution, please let me know.
 
@Pios; just package the Mysql.Data.dll as a dependency (copy-always, or however ClickOnce wants it). The connector is really only required for developers. End-users can just have the DLL

Ok now i get another problem it says Unable to install or run application. The application requires that assembly MySql.data Version 6.3.2.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache First

So what do i need to install .

P.S Sorry for all the troubles
