Okay well my main account I botted for about a week then I got what I needed so I stopped. The account has had no suspension or warning for botting and I really didn't care if I lost the account. But now that Cata is coming out I really want to play again without worrying if my account gets banned as a result of my botting a while back. So I decided to make a fresh new account if it means not having to worry about getting it banned after I put in lots of work into the characters. If I make a new account on the same computer, and IP Address without linking my old account with the new one am I safe to enjoy playing legit with 100% ban free? Just to make it clear I never got suspended or a warning for botting on my main account but I'm still paranoid in playing it with the possibility of getting it banned. Also will I have to delete Honorbuddy from my computer competely to be safe?
If I make a new account is my account 100% ban free?

If you haven't already gotten banned for botting, and you won't get banned by cata, then you're completely safe. No need for a new account.

yeah bluefish is right, if you only botted for a week and it was awhile ago and you received no actions against your account, it's safe to say you'll be fine. Because since your no longer botting, if HB/GB ever gets detected you haven't botted in weeks so you won't get perm banned. They have no reason to, but they could only suspend your account for 3 hours/72 hours type of thing if they do anything .
So what you are saying is even though I haven't botted for a while and if they ever do detect HB/GB they will still know I botted before? And only get a suspension since I wasn't actually botting when if HB ever got detected?

There is no exact yes or no about this. Here is the answer you are looking for. You could be banned, but the chances are extremely (and I mean so slim that its generally not going to happen) slim. If you have had no suspensions or warnings of any sort, and no players have whispered you about anything (that you know of), then you are fine. Deleting isn't going to do anything. If you want to lessen your chances just in case a player quietly reported you is to get on the main. Hand level some proffs, AH, maybe talk with the guild and do some fishing. If you plan on botting try switching between GB and Honorbuddy and mix it up. Keep it extremely random.
