Actaeon - A Hunter CC part of the Zeus suite

how can i add the food name to the cc file? i take a look in Pets.cs but i cant find the place.
i have "Boncescale Snapper" in my bags but the cc cant find them
game language is english

any yes i have the glyph of mending

You can't. The CC does not use food names, it uses food types, Meat, Fish, Cheese, Bread, Fungus. This automatically searches your bags for all objects and queries the type, if the type is the same as what your pet will eat, it feeds the pet. If its not feeding the pet a specific food there is nothing I can do about it.
 
i got "Boncescale Snapper" and the cc cant find them because these Boncescale Snapper has not the type "fish"

i got these Boncescale Snapper from the auctionhouse maybe its from cooking
and now i have fish from drops and it works now...
sry for my english but i hope u know what i mean :)

the strange think is i can feed my pet by myself with Boncescale Snapper but the cc cant..

If this information is of any use to you:

It appears to cast Volley when my hunter has 3 targets attacking me, and not the pet. I imagine it would be very easy to fix the code for multi mob pulling in regards to this, but I am not a developer so that is at best a guess. I noticed this after trying out a ferocity pet which, as you can probably tell, isn't holding threat as well.

If it isn't useful to you, then I apologize.

Edit: I've also been able to reproduce this with one target attacking me and two attacking my pet. This is with multimob pulling turned off.

Just thought I'd throw this out there.. I've noticed that if your ranged weapon breaks (zero durability) - the CC will just send the pet in and wait for it to kill the mob. It will never melee. Is this by design?

I also noted this with the extra comment if you run out of ammo, go back to npc to buy some and then start botting again, it will still think it has no ammo. I noticed this after a long night of botting and forgetting to buy ammo. Quick fix was to add the newly realease ebuy 3.2.1 but nevertheless it would be nice to add some check in this plugin. He will just send in Pet and follow it closely to melee. It's nice to skill up but nicer would be to start shooting again. And yes i added the new ammo to the 'paperdoll slot'

For the rest NICE WORK. This is indeed the BEST CC i have used so far for any class. Even the multi-mob works great with my bear. Even without the Thunderstomp ability as ia m still 43 and thunderstomp becomes available at 44.

I recommend this one to everyone

It even rocks harder with thunderstomp on. For the record. I've been levelling this toon SOLELY on bot time. Only thing I have done by hand was getting my mounts. Everything else is purely done by this bot. Been monitoring him for a while now and he sometimes draws 5-8 mobs without dying.

Hunters really rock.

Keep up the good work for those other CC's as well.

At level 59 I decided that without multimob working correctly at the mo I'd try ferocity

Not looking back.., does more damage than the character most of the time... by doing so much damage it doesn't lose threat single target and it picks up threat very well on adds even though it's not using aoe. I'm using a wolf which has some very cool abilities which increase my own attack power/speed. Went from about 260 DPS at level 59 to 350+ (often over 400) at 60. Highly recommended alternative :).

In fact its just the opersite. It reads the 'red message' when you are out of ammo and from that point (until you RESTART HB) it uses melee mode only. It works 100% on all my test characters (english client).

As indicated in the first post, once you buy arrows you MUST close and restart HB.

No, it's not that I ran out of arrows. Read the post. "IF YOUR RANGED WEAPON BREAKS (ZERO DURABILITY)" - meaning, you grind for hours without repairing and your bow breaks from using it so much. If HB does not run to the vendor to repair it (like it should, but due to user error, mine was not repairing) if it stays broken, the CC will just continue sending the pet in and standing back doing NOTHING but watching. No melee. If I stop the bot and go repair manually, then start it up again it works fine. NO restart.


The red text from having a broken bow "You must have a ranged weapon equipped" is different than the red text from having no ammo "You must put ammo in that paperdoll slot" or something to that effect. It's a different problem entirely.

You're right, the bow/crossbow breaking is currently NOT part of the ammo check. If "You must have a ranged weapon equipped" is the EXACT text I'll add this to the list.

Restarting the bot does NOT work for me. I have to stop the bot, reinstall the original hunter.cs file, start the bot. Stop the bot again, delete the hunter.cs and i'm back again. But that's not a big problem, just need to make sure i have enough ammo before i start another bot session. I can live with that. On the other hand, building a timed check would make this CC rock even harder. Check from time to time that there is ammo in the paperdoll and see if you can shoot again.

Another issue i'm currently having is pet feeding.

"-Feed Pet
Nothing available to feed pet.Trying again in 5 minutes ...
..." - Get spammed every 5 seconds while the bot stops walking around. He stays at the same spot and just spams till he gets attacked and then starts 'defending' itself. Currently at a great location for it, so i don't mind this.

Currently not at home so adding the HB log is hard. Will add it as soon as i am home.

All you need to do is close HB and restart HB. Of cause, you need to have ammo and it must be in the paper doll. The setting is simply held in a variable that is stored in memory. Closing and restart HB clears this memory.

What you're doing is the equilivient of removing the engine from your car, putting a new temporary engine in the car, taking the temporary engine out of the car and then putting the original engine back in the car JUST SO YOU CAN CHANGE THE OIL. W T F!

You are CLOSING / EXITING HB and then re-opening it arn't you? You're not just hitting Stop and Start? Like I said in the very first page.

Nope, i definitly am closing it. I stop the bot, then i get the ammo, then i put the ammo in paperdoll slot , then i close the bot, then i reopen the bot, then i restart the bot and watch it go. After a few mobs it's apparant that he's still melee'ing. I'm on Windows 7 running the bot without admin rights. Will test it with admin rights later.

And i've just downloaded the log (last part otherwise it's to big to add to this post) for the feeding issue.View attachment 7-09-2010 Log.txt
