AH Mule Suspended

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I got a suspension today for an AH only account. I started the account two days ago and it sold $40+ of items over the weekend. Today it sold a set of shoulders on the RMAH, and bam in game suspension with this e-mail:

Account Name: BLAH BLAH
BattleTag: BLAH BLAH

This Diablo III account has been locked due to an auction-related issue. Until this issue is resolved, the account will be unavailable for play. Access to the Diablo III auction house is restricted until the account is unlocked.

In addition, all my gold and RMAH were cancelled with accompanying e-mails. I had five AH only accounts. Only one with a pay pal (account still good), the rest are Authenticator blizz money. None of the other account were touched, yet, and I will not be opening a ticket seeing as what just happened to bizzy. None of the 14 bots were touched either. I'll keep updated if its full on ban.

PS: out of the 5 ah accounts, this was the only non level 60 account. It had 1 level 1 character, but was very fresh (about 2 days old).

im glad my post is theoretically helping someone already.

the thing we share in common that i see is brand new game license with sales not possible by account its on. this is the same email i recieved which i foolishly subimited tickets to.

so this was a bnet balance account? also interesting if so.

hopefully it doesnt go into auto review (which is another thing i was scared of)

Yeah this account only had a Bnet balance. My initial thought was it had to be either

A) Suspicious of a level 1 account selling (thats exactly why i made sure all my other mule accounts had at least one 60... just got lazy)
B) Something went wrong on the buyers end after buying those shoulders because the auction cancellation states to protect all parties.

I guess everyone should be cautious before using an account with no level 60s selling on the RMAH. I cant say if that for sure is the reason, but judging what bizzy says, that's what i'm betting on.

because they ban accounts now whenever you try to sell something on rmah using a different paypal email. Happened to me multiple times on my main account and got unbanned after I alligned the paypal email and bnet email (make sure to send them a ticket), this is probably not a bot related issue.

If I remember correctly, I think they banned my account at my 3rd or 4th rmah sale (btw this was a long time ago when I still wasn't botting)

just checked both my US and EU mules, and they're fine.
both mule chars are under lvl10.
both accounts on different email addresses then the single paypal account.

haven't had a single problem so far. i've had'em for 3-4 months.

so yeah, countless RMAH sales.

The one account with the pay pal was safe, and yes its attached to the same as my paypal e-mail. The one that was suspended had a different e-mail, but was using only the Battle.net currency RMAH.

It was just suspended not banned, but in order to fix it I would have to add my buddy's paypal and have him send his ID in which would just be pointless, or i replace the game license with new key and risk it happening again. I used it with mismatched names for MONTHS before this happened, 2 licenses even, one pre dec 18th, and then for like 3 months after... my current 6 bots luckily all share the same name (diff emails ) and are fine - all bots (therefore have 60s)

like i said, the pay pal account was not affected by this suspension. It was an account that had no association to my pay pal, just Battle.net currency. It did share the same name as my five other auction house accounts though.

Yeah, Account status is showing the same AH banned, account suspended. I'm tempted to call tomorrow, but am hesitant due to what happened to bizzy. If i leave it alone do you think it will get sorted out by itself?

So i called Blizzard this morning and got the account back. The customer service rep had to escalate and verify through another department on if it could be unlocked. He recommended that I put some levels on the account because it may become locked again in the future if I use the account as a AH mule with only a level 1. Mods can close this thread.

I knew for some reason he was gonna get unbanned, things like this happen all the time we are just too quick to think that it's bot related cause that's what all of us have been doing.

i think selling with a level 1 account would only attract attention to blizz weather its for real money or blizz money and from the look this thread that was the problem here not the bot or farming or anything like that might be worth leveling toon for safety.
