Do you still bot? Nothing gets sold on rmah and gold worth nothing ...

Slashing all gold reserves by /100 on all accounts (sort of redenomination thing that is used to fight with hyperinflation) + decreasing gold drops might solve this for a while. Sure, it will create a lot of discontent, but if it's a necessary measure to save D3 economy then why not. Ban waves have proven to be even less effective. In add-on all gold from vanilla D3 will be probably wiped out anyway. But somehow i don't think Blizz cares about D3 economy at this point.
 
Haven't sold anything above 5$ in liek a week now, even made some massive price reductions in gear
 
tried selling a ring for $50 on rmah. didnt sell.

sold it for 1bil on gah. sold instantly.

sold gold on rmah at 0.25

made way more than my original $50 i had it listed for.

me = happy.

i have no bills to pay and no expenses to cover, so im in no hurry to sell my gold. some times it gets returned, other times 400 - 500 mil will sell in a weekend. had 200mil sell mid week 2 weeks ago.

yeah right. i've sold nothing....you need to have 100Pc's on RMAH to sell gold. We can wait untill they let us sell all stocks for 0.01. Dont see that one comming soon... but i think it would hurt the Trillionaires.

the problem is always the same, 95% of cd keys are from botters/chinese farmers, 5% are normal players where 0.1% of them spend their money.

I hope they ban that 95%
 
yep and when my currency conversion kicks in its $190.

free $190 from 1 bot is all good with me. once i get home from training and get my other 2 wow bots + 2 more d3 bots back on, ill be back to making a bigger chunk. but hey if you dont like (virtually) free money then thats cool with me.

shrug, just an example that shit does still sell, nothing more than that.
 
3 weeks ago d3 had completely different (much better) market. free money are always good, but if you invest money, you need to make money, that's botting business. with current market\prices it is unreal\very hard.
 
yeah i completely agree, its not a sustainable income imo. but for me im a soldier so get my usual wages, dont pay for electricity (barracks living) and i was lucky enough to pay for my extra bot licences / accounts when the market was a big more forgiving / wowgold. so i dont need to recover any costs at all.... so ive put 2 grand toward my house deposit in the last 6 months from just botting.

2 grand is a 1$ per year pay rise. for someone on average wages, thats a decent by any means.

I think he removed it because he has a " fake" Paypal account , he then send money to his really PP . He's all pro ...jk
 
I really started botting D3 at the worst time possible... When I started in late January 1 billion gold was about 120 euro on the black market. But now when I finally have my first billion it's about 27 euro. I can't be bothered to sell for that price, so I have lost quite a bit of money on this project. Oh well, maybe another game will yield better results.

Not sure what you are looking at, but I am seeing $150 in 3 weeks for 1 bot. Thats about $200 a month PER bot.

That is pretty damn good.

If he ran 5 bots he would have $1000/mo
 
My one and only bot is running constantly until it gets banned. I've spent quite a bit on my Barbarian and working towards paragon level 100.

I started back up in January after all the bans in December and have made 10x+ the money spent (just game copies; already own computers).

Something tells me you don't 24/7.
 
Run 4 bots 24/7 since 2 months back. Blizzard wants us to bot, more money for them! Make banwaves every now and then to keep community at bay
