I tried selling about 30M a few days ago at the default rate ($.25), but nobody bought and the gold was returned. A guy in trade said most people are buying the radiant star gems worth ~22M since they're only worth $.6, have you sold any gold lately? Does it matter how little or how much you put up? Besides good items, I don't understand how to make money with Diablo III.

gold is not selling on rmah cos everyone knows about buying gems on rmah and selling them on gah which is way cheaper .there are a few tryhards who list their gold for weeks and months and sometimes get lucky selling a part but most of the time it doesnt.
the sure way is to sell gems but they are very cheap now and you dont get much out of it .
with items it's the same they have to be really good and dirty cheap
it takes 1month+ nowadays to recover costs of db + license and there is also cost of electricity , pc's for more bots etc . only way to make real money now is to have 30+ bots and u hope u dont get banned in at least 2-3 months depending on what you have invested

That's believable, no need for proof.
I've only made about 300$ with 12 bots over 3 weeks. Also trying to unload 7 billion gold.

Maybe i don't know what to flip but i'm not able to earn more money flipping items instead of flipping gems...
Yerterday a very friendly monster dropped me an IK Gloves with 19x STR 3X Crit DMG and +All Res, i can sell it in GAH for about 600m, IN RMAH the cheapest one with similar stats (Better stats) is at 75?, I have listed it at 45? and i don't think i will sell it, btw if I flip gems with the money from GAH i can earn like ~37?...
I've earned like 100? in 1 Month with 3-4 bots, almost boting for 19-20h/7 and i see you guys earning more than me with less bots and i think, omg i'm or very stupid or i don't really know what to do XD

it is as moldran is saying but honest botting with a few bots is dead .
nowadays you can only do it with A. numbers 20-30+ bots or B. with a few bots and heavy flipping and spending lots of time on ah which sux so whoever says botting i still profitable is doing either A or B . but B is not really an option because if you are making it a part time job time spent vs hourly rate sux
and A is really more like gambling if u do it with no protection ***/wm/vps/ at banweaves if 1 bot is caught all the bot army will follow and if using more caution it adds to the costs..so in my opinion it still goes down to the profitability of 1 bot

You are terribly bad at this, the gloves you mention are listed in RMAH and have 19AR wich is totally scum, you expect to sell them for 45 while there are several with similar stats and 40+AR for ~25E

Yesterday, when i was looking for an item like mine, i have not found any item with Crit damage and AR, and i started my search with 170 Str, 10 AR and 30% crit dmg... The only one was selling at 79? with 45%crit dmg and 49AR.
By the way, thank you a lot XD when i arrive home i will check it and low the price

Keep in mind Chinese, Moldovians etc are very happy selling emerald even for 0.25. even when it dips below $1 most of us will have quit.
quick question who are these moldavians lol

Anyone else just stocking their gold? I just can't seem to justify selling it at .08
I figure I'll just keep stocking it until something comes along to give it a bit of value, getting close to 10b
10b isn't that much anymore. Probably better of selling that, with those bots you have you can probably refarm another 10b in like 15-20 days maybe even less
I sold mine B gold piles, flipped some items, sold some gems, sold some gold on RMAH... Got almost the same amount of cash in march as if in february and january, but yeah i added some more bots
BTW how does WoW treat you so far?

Its a tongue-in-cheek joke based on a statement made a few weeks ago here on the DB forums... basically talking about Eastern Europe and the poor economic situation there. I'm still leveling a druid in WoW. He's about 75 now. From what I'm seeing WoW may have a better $$$ return then D3 at this point, provided bans aren't too frequent. If they started banning D3 accounts that may actually fix things. I'm shocked they are letting us get away with 24/7 botting for months on end.
I'll be heading to Ontario for work in 4 weeks so I'll probably sell the D3 gold by then through some means. I'll be in the woods so no computers, no botting for a while. I may actually look at selling the accnts (para 100 monks) if anyone is interested.
