What PC set would u use for xx instances ?

Hi, im on a buy of a PC, but i cant handle rlly what to chose, i got 1250 - 1500 USD (1000 - 1300 EURO) for a pc on wich ill be running only Wow + HB in as many instances as possible. I bought few weeks ago:

- PROCESOR CORE I5 3470 3.2 GHZ LGA1155
- MSI AMD RADEON HD7870 2048MB DDR5/256BIT DVI/HDMI PCI-E
- 16 GB RAM


And i can run on him kinda laggy 7 WOW + HB instances (6 x is safe and more stable). So what parts would u put on to build a PC. PS in total i can even give 2000 EURO if that pc will run 5 more HB+WOW than a pc for 1300 Euro. So the price is not solid.

i believe your procesor is the main problem
a i7 would be way better for running more instances, your ram is ok, thats not your bottlenet at 7
are you sure all settings are on low?

Yeap, all on low in wow - all off (antialiasing, smoothers etc) also at gfx card settings. And y, i think its the CPU, check the screens. Tho the question is about what to buy next, what parts price/performance.

To be honest a i5 can run at least 10+ without dying like wounded gazelle.
I can see you got res set low along with gfx settings but have you physically shrunk the window size down to as small as possible?
I can run 3 bots on an old (3 years+) PC with just 8gb of ram and an old phenom x2, without it getting freaky on me.

idd i was having old qued qore and was running on him easy 6-7 WOW's. And y, i got all windows to 200x200. And thx for the link, but its for sure not RAM - as when i runn all 7 HB+WOW i got 45% RAM usage. <thinking>

Check the screens iv posted. When using 7 x WOW + HB i got 30% Gfx card usage, 45% RAM usage and 100% CPU usage

PS i just thought that it can be addons - im using lots of them (some turned off) but i use SharpMessanger, will turn if off and see how it works.

Phenom is better choice then i5 in my opinion. I was runing 3 WOW on dual core 3.4Ghz and 4 GB ram. On Phenom x6 , 8 GB ram I am not sure how much I can run, but I am runing 2 WOW and another 2 on vmware. I have DC on vmware due graphic isue (i belive it is graphic).

Your settings can go below "low" with a macro you can find by googling, or maybe someone will post it here. You didn't cap your frames per second (big factor) to 13-15 fps

Seriously your pc can run more than 10 easily, my old computer was a x2 250 3ghz 8 gb ram and could run 9 bots ...
For comparison: Intel Core i5 3470 vs AMD Athlon II X2 250

10-15 should be absolutely no problem.

folder WTF put this in config. In config you can set fps 15.

You can also adjust your fps ingame by using the following:

/console set maxfps "n"

Where "n" is any number you want as the fps, so for example 15 fps would be /console set maxfps 15.
