I don't know about you fellow botters, but i sure as hell have noticed a steady decline in good CR's and free ones. The good ones are all donation based and the ones that are free are outdated and most don't do good in PVP. Now don't start with the whole write your own crap, if that was the case i would have never bought HB . If you are suppose to know how to code and do your own CR's put that in BIG RED LETTERS before we buy HB. To be honest i think its a rip off, Hb creators know damn well why we buy this but then we get a half ass experienced because the good stuff cost more ? Oh and to those asking for money for good CR's, 50 bucks ? are you fucking insane? If you are charging more than i am paying to play the game or payed for the bot you know you are insane.

To be honest I find the selection at the moment pretty good, the whole argument about 3rd party devs (those guys who code CR's in their own time on their own dime) don't get paid by HB staff so therefore don't get paid by you.
Now one can make an argument about if HB was advertised as having killer CR's to own BG's but it doesn't afaik, so I'm not sure why you think you are being misled.

HB provides the bot, basic routines and plugins. Which is what you payed for, if you want the bot to do more than that, this is your best friend ---> Honorbuddy & Gatherbuddy Wiki - Buddy Wiki or perhaps some of the other users that have had the initiative to learn how the bots works.

Maybe get a job and earn some money to donate to the things you want. The authors of those polished routines have invested a great deal of time into their creation. The very least we can do is donate so they can offer continued support of them.

Best said. And if they weren't making these beautiful things... we simply wouldn't have anything that was outstanding, just the normal product... Sorta like my car... The Subaru WRX STI... You can get a solid working WRX but when you get the STI options you get something immense...

The OP is 100 percent correct. It should be fully disclosed that to get the most out of the bot, you must know how to code and write your own profiles. It's not. The bot is sold as if it does everything for you and you do not need to know how to code or write profiles. It's pretty misleading.

Without guys like Cava, the entire questing section would be of no use. Right now the BG section of HB is broken. Gathering would also not work without people creating third party routes. Half of the aspects of HB that stop you from getting banned are plugins made by third party people.

Spend five minutes in the profiles and Combat Routine forums, and you will realize your observation is utter nonsense.

The Mega profile packs of Botanist, Cava. Kick, and TheBrodieMan. Quest, Grind, Farm Rep, Gather for just about anything you want. There are also some fine "one off" profiles in our forum.

Singular, CLU, and Pure Rotation are some fine all-in-one Combat Routines. Apoc's Ares is another all-in-one, that is even used for raiding by many. If you don't like those, there are dozens of specialty Combat Routines that are tweaked for just about every peculiarity you can imagine. Some Combat Routines are better at PvE, and others at PvP, and yet others try to address all worlds.

New users don't have to learn a line of code, or write any profiles. They read the instruction manual, follow it, and go.

Just because the offerings don't perform the way you would have designed it, doesn't mean its sub-par by any stretch of the imagination. This is why the "go learn to code" phrase is so frequently thrown at people that complain. They're never going to be happy unless they do it themselves.

This thread started as an direct insult to the development members of our Community. As such, we are closing this thread to allow time for meditation upon the offerings. Go acquire some Zen, and learn about what all is available, and what its capable of.

If you actually want to improve the perceived deficiencies...
then provide considered feedback with your full log attached into the thread of the Combat Routine or Profile that you would like to make better.
