Rogue and questing 85+

Maybe this has been recently discussed and I apologize if I missed it. Are Rogues just bad as a questing option for survivability? I've used a priest and Hunter and had very few issues with dying, all the way to 90. My Rogue seems to die very often and I'm left babysitting more than I'd like to. I've been using Assassination, so maybe my problem is there? My gear is about where it should be for that level and I've had the most success with Singular. Any tips?

Rogues are *the* worst! Mages are second, but not even close to Rogues.
