Here's some stuff that will make your life easier & more efficent!
CLASSES/RACES
1) Tauren Druids will probably be the best race/class to gather with. They have ( Flight Form - Instant cast Flying mount ) which allows you to herb while mounted and also the Tauren racial that allows you to pick herbs in about 0.5 seconds as opposed to 2 seconds. ( Cultivation - Spell - World of Warcraft ). These two things together will cut down a ton of cast time.
2) Death Knights & Paladins both have a 20% passive mount increase - On a Pale Horse - Spell - World of Warcraft & Heart of the Crusader - Spell - World of Warcraft
4) Again, Taurens are by far the best race due to their racial. So that means.. Tauren Druid/DK/Pally are the best gatherer's respectively. ( Also, any other Druid/DK/Pally with the forager's gloves that I mention later in this guide will be just as effective as a Tauren, it will just take some time to get them to drop for you. )
ITEMS
1) Mist-Piercing Goggles ( Allows you to herb/mine additional nodes in Pandaria.. this is a must have ) - Mist-Piercing Goggles - Item - World of Warcraft
2) Ancient Pandaren Mining Pick ( Allows you to mine up rare MoP gems in addition to whatever else you get... the drop rate is pretty low but considering the volume bots do this is a nice addition. ) - Ancient Pandaren Mining Pick - Item - World of Warcraft
3) Forager's gloves ( gives you the the equivilent of the Tauren racial that allows you to pick herbs quicker ( does not stack ), and also reduces mining time by 1.5 seconds. ) - Forager's Gloves - Item - World of Warcraft
4) Triple-Reinforced Mining Bag & Hyjal Expedition Bag ( Obvious one here. Grab 2 each of these 36 slot herb/ore bags. Or 4 of either if you're only botting one ) - Triple-Reinforced Mining Bag - Item - World of Warcraft & Hyjal Expedition Bag - Item - World of Warcraft
MOUNTS
1) Red Flying Cloud ( I can't express the importance of this enough, especially if you're using a Tauren. It's the smallest mount in the game and I NEVER get stuck anymore with this mount.. and yes that happens a lot while gathering. This mount can be obtained in one night [ Exalted with Lorewalkers ] and there's probably a profile for it on here somewhere... GET THIS MOUNT! ) - Red Flying Cloud - Spell - World of Warcraft
2) 310% flying speed - The easiest thing you can do to increase your productivity is by purchasing this, it cost about 5000 gold and can be learned from any mount trainer.
PLUGINS
1) Relogger - Get one of these's, especially if you have an unstable internet like me. It will log you back in and start honorbuddy up if you get DC'd or your internet goes out for a bit. It can also switch your profiles or log you out for a desired amount of time. Very useful and a must for all botters. - http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...ed/44295-app-hbrelog-opensource-relogger.html
2) Item Deleter - Get one these and set it up to delete all your Water & Life Spirits. Sometimes you will get unlucky and have your main backpack full with one stack of Life Spirits at 18 ( they won't go in herbing bags ).. and the node your herbing has 3 Life Spirits. Your bot will sit there and keep herbing over and over all night/day until you stop him because it won't fit in your bags. <--- that is BAD!!
3) Blacklister - will blacklist nodes with too many mobs around them ( ie. nodes that will get you killed ). This can become a vicious chain of death if you are botting on an undergeared character. - http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...blacklister-increase-your-nodes-per-hour.html
MISC
1) Bountiful Bags - Level 23 Guild Perk ( Sometimes increases the quantity of herbs/ore you get per node. Being in a guild will up your volume quite a bit. I would suggest either buying one or leveling your own so no one see's that you're online all the time. ) - Bountiful Bags - Spell - World of Warcraft
2) DPS Spec ( You will often run into hostile mobs while gathering, if you're healing/tank spec it might slow you down a bit. Grab a DPS spec/gear and activate it while gathering )
3) Set GB to not loot mobs ( Like I said above, you will often run into hostile mobs while gathering and you don't want precious bag space being taken up by grey junk. )
That's all I got for now guys, hope it helped some of you out and I will update if I think of anyting else!
