New computer help

I had cpu with ivy bridge and my mobo had too old BIOS, I had to give it back and they installed newest bios and everything works fine now. Maybe its the case? :)
 
Just RMA'd the Mobo and bought a newer and better one. Don't see how it could be the case considering the only thing plugged in is the 2 pin power switch

You did good. If you do not get any beeps without any ram plugged into the mobo then its a mobo issue.

Yupp no beeps :(

Also RMA'd the i7 3770k as well. It came with a brown stain on the gold contacts. Not sure what it is. It was only plugged into the mobo once. Sent it back for good measures.
 
Well it was a dead mobo! Got a brand new one in yesterday (different) and it works great first try.

Love this mobo compared to the one that was dead. Has a power switch, easy access SATA ports, much easier cable management

The 3770k is nice. The fan that comes with it makes me want to tear someones head off. It is insanely loud and needs replacement asap.

YES! I read that from the reviews on the CPU. I got a Hyper 212 Plus instead.
