Just wondering questorder using flightpaths?

just curious this has prob been asked tons of times, will we see hb2 useing a flightpath to get to a zone in the near future, instead of running half across a continent :P.
 
They would have to add something to the API for this to happen, but it would be very helpful.
 
No not yet, but it will be coming in the future.

Trust me you will know when Flight Paths are being used as there will be litterally 1000's of posts saying HOOOORAY!
 
is there coming a feature for using Lifts too?

like in Thunderbluff ore thousand needles?

i know from AIO that it can use these things, so its isnt impossible to add these things...
 
the trouble with flightpaths is that if people start at say level 40 on a 1-60 profile then you need so sort of detection to run to that zone

On that note however boats and zpeplins too plzzz :)

well once the questorder stuff is sorted, you could be lead there by "next" quest i guess.
 
Bugtracker Issue #137 asked about the Lifts (http://bugtracker.buddyforum.de/viewissue.php?issue_no=137).

Apoc closed the issue on 29-Aug-2010 with the following response:
We're well aware of this.
We've had quite a few discussions about transports in general,
and once we iron out more important things, transport support will be
coming.

To me this indicates the issue is near and dear to the HB team, but they've more pressing matters to clear off the plate before they can address the issue. I'm sure "transports" includes Flightpoints too; however, they may not be addressed at the same time, since the mechanics for the usage of Lifts and Flightpoints are completely different.

i hope it comes... until not, i stop making profiles...
its very important for a profile maker that the bot can use lifts, flypoints Zeppelin and the train too...
if you want to create a good working 1-click profile for 1-80
 
my horde pally will fly to undercity to train and stuff. But I can't get anything in alliance to do it.
its a custom profile.

I have not even seen anything on alliance side go train at all. so it must all be custom profiles.
