On my "main" (if you can even call it like that) or on my bots?
 
i spend like 20-50 mil @ 60 initially - then when gold is returned (quite often) i upgrade a piece or two ... so probably 100m each bot after a while

Lol why spend 20-50mil on start and then spend a lot more. Just spend descent amount of gold and be done with it.

Also, anyone spending more than 40-50m per bot is doing extreme overkill unless you plan to bot higher mp (which is another overkill btw).

Higher MP is not overkill.
Normal players and botters have reported a higher number of perfectly-rolled legs/sets in MP8~10 just by killing white mobs and skipping elites.

Rrrix put in the "Ignore Elites" option in his latest release of Trinity just for that purpose.
 
The stats on Legs are not determined by MP, or MF. Rares are a somewhat different story, but higher MP does not = better stats on Legs, but just may increase the quantity of legs you get, giving you (maybe) more chances at perfect.

However, theres a lot of validity to farming white mp10 mobs only for xp/legs per hour.
 
Had a monk and a barb with 50ish mill gear, but changed to two 100 mill wizards now with 260k dps buffed
 
I guess people who spent 50-100m or 200-500m can't vote :(

My char was about 200m

i'm interested how much barbs with >250m equip is have IPH?
 
I don,t get it why wont you invest allot gold like 200 mil considering that the char wont be banned for half a year. Those who did and bot on higher mp will know there is a benifit to it.
I have a dh that bot mp0 and monk mp2. The monk has 0.5 more legs per hour than the dh...even though dh has more g more gph and more iph overall.

loool 2k iph, that cannot be achieved, even at mp10 with 100% bonus item drops, here is the math.
My barbs are botting mp0 each, they kill melle elites in like 1 sec, unless they are ranged occulust and start kiting, then fights can take anything from 2 to 5 seconds. At this speed i am hitting 550-600iph, so even if you kill stuff on mp10 as fast as i do on mp0 (which is impossible btw even with perfectly rolled items in every slots) you will still be looking at 1200iph at best. Even if you say that 600mf as opposed to 300 will give you that extra 800iph somehow, you still need to kill stuff as fast on mp10 as my barbs on mp0...
