what will happen to HB? It already takes HB like atleast 10 hours for a update when a ninja patch come. considering it's only like 5 mb per patch, what will happen to HB if they do it very often? will you guys make a auto hb updater?

What would happen if HB Squad didn't give a crap about the patches and just let you bot and lets say like Blizzard had implemented like a new security thing, like to ban us all and then we would all be botting like totally happy and careless for like 2 minutes and then like BOOM, taken downtown? What would like happen then?

Wont happen...

Can you imagine how pissed legit players would be if they was raiding / bg's / farming / doing anything

And they had to logout to download a new patch every day?

So yeah, never going to happen.

You're not getting dc's on ninja-patch, it just starts the launcher next time you run the game.
(and please none say you do, till 1h ago I was still botting one of my chars even thought patch was applied few h ago)

So yeah, it might happen.

As it has been with WoW since first release, when there is a new content patch Blizzard makes small patches every day after bugs gets notised that wasn't notised on beta realm.
Give it a week and Blizz most likely have been able to solve most bugs.

having a patch everyday would be smart on blizzards part and who cares if people cry about it. I'm sure its in the fine text somewhere on blizzards terms of service that we all agree to. It would probably be a big blow/end to HB, unless it takes like 10 minutes to update a release version. In that case HB dev team is just lazy/asleep. IF it takes some hard coding or whatever to fix it each day a new mini patch is out then yeah that would be bai bai :D

if that happend, at this rate blizz would have succesfully and effectively shut down honorbuddy

What you did there? I see it... LOL

Common sense, new content, bugs, daily patches aand soon it will be over like it always was. Stop being so dramatic.

Blizzard like the bots. They get more subs. They'll never stop the botting because we provide them with revenue.

The End.

Wow patches always annoy the crap out of the player base for a few weeks. Addons and bots aren't worth getting worked up about directly after major patches.

Just chill and be grateful we have HB devs who provide a good service.

Yes, thats because you didn't shut down the game...smh but for people just getting on for the day the patch messes up the bot is what I think the person is saying. We know if you just stay in game it doesn't affect the bot.

blizz does make you dc on some patches. Exploit fix patches f.e. So yes, you will get dc'd when they feel the need for it.

Yes, frequent updates to WoW and especially the parts where the memory offsets for movement, combat, looting, object interaction and quests are, could cause HB to become unusable, especially if they do it every 10 hours, although 24 hours will work, too, since people log at different times and botters will get no more than a few hours of botting time.

This would be easy for Blizzard to do, as their GM teams may be very thinned out, but they still have tons of developers and it would be a trivial task for them.

What if this is a really stupid question?

And then the whole system crashes giving error 313, effectively shutting down world of warcraft for 6 hours cuz people can't log in.

Maybe you have dodged the reaction on these patches in the official us forums.
Thousands of people have experienced errors and disconnects when connecting to the servers, as result of these small patches and server side hotfixes. The support forum was flooded with raging and crying people, and I can bet, 99% of them have never used a bot, and most likely have no idea what is that.

So Blizzard have much more problems with the masses out there, than with our small botters community.

For the record - these patches fix some groundbraking exploits, part of which leaked on the forums already, so they had to be really fast.

Blizz just fixes WoW bugs...

dont go paranoid mode...
