Problem running 2 demonbuddys

ok i have to accounts i was thinking of buying another DB key to run 2 of my accounts together i can run 2 diablo sessions at once i trade stuff down to my main off the other 2 all the time i copyed the diablo folder and renamed it ect.

problem is off the copy'd diablo folder wont alow me to bot off it when i start up demonbuddy it tells me i have to start diablo but its already running of the copy'd one.

i no i have missed soemthing or overlooked something but cant find what.

what i have done so far is reinstalled newest demonbuddy and trinity for both demonbuddys beta and the other still gett he same message.

so im sure i have copy'd something wrong maybe or missed something i should have done..

any help would be awsome im not buyinf another key untill i fix this well learn how to fix it cheers.
 
copy ur diablo3 folder to somewhere else, change its name , go to ur diablo3 copied folder and go to diablo III.exe, right click and make shortcut, now go to shortcut and right click on it, go to properties and where u have like "D:\lolz\diablo3,exe" -launch (add: -launch at the and) and now u can run multiple diablo3 instances
 
hey i already did that and can run 2 diablo 3 instances but i can bot on the second(copy) diablo?
 
Found this thought it might be good for other members if i can get it to work anyone can.

1. Update first your Diablo 3 game client by running it normally.
2. Copy the “Diablo III” game folder located in the Program Files or the Program Files (x86) folder to another location.
3. From the “Diablo III” game folder, right click “Diablo III.exe” and select “Create Shortcut“.
4. Copy the shortcut, to a new location accessible to you. (ex. Desktop)
5. Right click on the Shortcut icon, then click on “Properties“.
6. From the “Target” form, add -launch at the end. It should look like this “C:/Program Files (x86)/Diablo III/Diablo III.exe” – 7. -launch
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6, on the other “Diablo III” game folder
8. Open the 2 shortcuts, to run 2 Diablo 3 clients simultaneously.

this is the steps i used to make second working diablo 3.

yea i no i already did that and can run 2 diablo 3 instances without any problem i have even played along side my bot.

BUT i cant bot on the copy for some reason as to have 2 bots running at once any ideas? i no its prob something i done but i cant figure out what.
 
you are missing a step in that case cause thats how i am doing it and it works :)
 
yea i redid it following them to a perfection but again it wont let me run DB off the second driving me alittle nuts now will leave till tommorw b4 i end up replacing the 32inch screen lmao...
 
demonbuddy i can open 2 diablo3 fine.

my problem is i cant use demonbuddy on the second copy'd diablo3 but i can on the other.

do you have 2 keys?

also give us your DB log
 
no just one key my main key i tried it on the second copyd folder and it didnt work will add log in a sec.
 
you need to sessions available in order to be able to run 2 DBs
 
but im only trying to get one session going on the copy'd diablo folder....if im only running one instance it should work with my key im not trying to use 2 demonbuddys at once...

the second diablo3 folder wont run a single session sorry im prob not expresing my self very well.
 
just realised the tital of the thread i put is not what i was trying to get help with lol...

this is the message i get.

is your D3 exe renamed or something?
 
ok i fixed it made a 3rd copy of diablo3 and that one workes fine but not the second must done soemthing wrong when i did it but both now run DB sweet.thankd Tony for your help..
