[Build] Tempest Rush Monk, Gearing, Build, and Setting guide

was testing it with new trinity and my monk in combat is spaming all the time sweping winde till they go out of spirit -.- any solution?
 
I've been trying the build, and have had better results with this variation:

Settings are just the same as gardetto's, but tempest rush in "elites and group". Will try "always" later.

Pros:

Highly configurable. Having spirit regen problems? Swith to Fist of Thunder, Quickening rune. Want more AOE? Switch to Mantra of Conviction, Submission rune. Hate the templar? change it to the scoundrel, it will be fine.
Lower Spirit use by taking Wave of light out. It obviusly hit like a truck, but trinity is spamming it and not placing it properly. Best without it.
One with everything. Enough said, this will allow the build to be used with lower budget and without having to change the gear of your cookie cutter monk bot (except for inna's helm and soj, obviously.)
Cyclones. I've been missing them.
Higher base damage (blazing wrath). Even ascension seems not needed, maybe in higher mp's but in 0 I yet have to die with this build. Still haven't figured out what to change Ascension for....maybe Blinding flash with increased dam?
Usable in higher mp's.


Cons:

No wave of light.


Let me know your results, mine are far better than previously.This is the best build for higher mp's farming.

Another build. Best mp0 results so far. Amazing Gold per hour and Item per hour. Over 100k gph increase over original build.Set gardetto's config, including tempest rush on movement only.

Pros:

One with everything.
Higher base damage because of Blazing wrath (no need for ascendance with one with everything)
WAVE OF LIGHT. It works in this build because of the masive spirit regen from Sweeping winds-inner vortex. It can also be spammed 6-7 times due to exalted soul passive.

Cons:

No fleet footed...10% decrease in movement speed from original build. The increased damage and the use of wave of light pretty much cover this, and more.

FAR BEST BUILD FOR mp0. TRY IT!!


EDIT: Dont set tempest rush to "Always". Works horribly in every build I've tried. "Elites and groups" and "movement only" are the viable choices!

I didnt purchase the whole set (poor here had different orange gear) but it seems as stated above I run into spirit problems, I will tweak my build to follow the person above me will report back...but all in all solid build ^^
 
Hey ive tried TR build but bot is a way too dumb for this :/ spaming TR 3 times in a row for nothing breakes everything so ive been looking for keeping TR pernamently (im using it all the time combat+movement). heres my build:

my spirit regen is almost 20 with 3 stacks and dps 120k.

Another problem is that bot has some issues with WP... he is trying to TR them so i kinda have to w8 till my spirit is gone :/ another problem is that bot is chasing some stupid ranged units - its compleatly not worth it but how can i disable that? i would like to skip single mobs (like those big ones with double mace) as well but dont know how to change that :/ Any help would be appreciated :)

I got few questions for gardettos and you guys.
First, Gardettos is tr monk build working with gardettos revenge 2.2, why is the new profile posted exclusively in this thread ? And another thing, since i doubt this will work with trinity 2.2, which is the oldest trinity and db version this works with ? i am currently at db 300 version and i'd hate to update it. I got nothing against updating to trinity 7.2.5, but if that forces me to update db as well...
Bottom line, anyone using trinity 7.2.5 with db 300 version ?

I've build on of these for 50m. So far 540 IPH 330 GPH at P14. So far good :)

btw is 30 TPS necessary cuz i don't have it :)

profile is pretty much optimal. Ditched Core, Siege and Crater 1.
 
Hey it's a really nice guide and profile good job on getting tempest rush to work.

I have a question though:

Is it possible to make the monk skip the places where things are spawning into the screen slowly? For instance in Tower of the Damned when 3 imps jump up the side to fight you the monk just waits around for them all to jump up and then kill them rather than move on.
This also happens with the Big guys (can't remember the name) spawning in stonefort.

Used the settings shown in the screenshots but it won't use tempest rush, just keeps running around using Fists of Thunder, any ideas?
 
I have never botted with monk before, and I decided to try your build for my first.


I have the tempest rush set for movement only, and what the bot does is tempest rush 2 steps forward, pause a little while, and then tempest rush 2 steps more and pause, repeating, I have a lot of spirit left, so its not that.
Anyone know why?
 
Well what he didn't include on his first post is.... Even though your setting your TPS to 30.. That just means it well let it run as fast as 30 not that your computer can actually run that fast...

If your not MAINTAINING a minimum of 13/14 TPS then TR will not be able to keep channeling and will waste your spirit...

If your using the beta DB (which you should be) it shows on the main DB screen as Ticks/s

Added version 0.4 to first post. It now does Keep 3 clear than goes to Skycrown. Half way though Skycrown it does a NV Stack check and will TP out if you 5 stacks.

Well Gardettos guide says open the flood gates to 30.. Which would be what I say do...

DB doesn't automatically run @ 10 either... Its just a limiter to keep it from going over 10... Or when you set it to 30.. It wont let you run over 30.....

Kind of like the governor on your car if that makes more sense...

It all depends on your CPU and how strong it is vs how many bots your running...

Well with 1.7.2.7 it would seem rrrix has added an additional dash of magic and it seems to be holding @ around 10 now.. Will need more testing but its getting better...

yeah, mine hits 10 without batting an eye. i already understand what "up to means". its like weasel words for advertising
 
Made one of my monks run this profile and bought items for 25kk. Looks like good, 780+ gph and about 600 iph 100 paragon.
Will report back with log after 24 hours run.
