Does anyone noticed that drop was nerfed after 1.0.7?
I got 1,5 stash pages of items every 12 hours on each bot before 1.0.7. 10-15 of them were legendaries. And 3-5 of those legendaries were mempos/skors/EF/sets.
Now i got 0,5 page and 90% of items are crappy legendaries. ilvl distribution is the same that before patch, but now its mostly wizzardspikes/madstoes/stormcrows/ss and other shit. I got only 2 mempos and 2 EF since patch.
Rare items are not stashing at all, cuz all of them are crap now.

On US forum there is a bluepost, that blizz didnt touch drop rates.

What you think?

PS Sorry for bad English.

Yet another "is something wrong with my RNG?" tread.

once i got 2 mempos on 1 bot, so, its not nerfed, you're just unlucky.

After not finding anything over $5 for many days, got a 6% Mempo today :D.

Look, there is some truth to this. It is not about RNG. After 1.0.7 the items worth anything drop much more rarely than they used to before the patch. I am noticing this on 16 different chars, so it cannot be coincidental. I believe the drop of "good" items has somehow been lowered. I could not think of a better explanation. Everything else is the same- bots make the same amount of gold for the same time; they pick up the same amount of items. Even the IPH and IPU are ~the same (previously the numbers were inflated, but divide them by 2 and you get ~the true amount).

funny how 90 percent of botters dont know how RNG works. actually its "sad for society" funny

This has nothing to do with RNG, dude.

Seriously, if you guys don't see that LESS GOOD ITEMS DROP NOW, there's gotta be something wrong on EU servers.. LOL

I'm form EU and I saw improvement tbh. Thats just rng :/

anybody with over 10bots can clearly see what is going on. hate small fish acting like they know whats up

My thoughts exactly, i can see this on many different chars, can't be just RNG. I heard some crazy theories, tho, but somehow lowering the chance for "good" items seems the most plausible to me. I also see a motive behind this- an attempt to heal the economy. If less good items drop, the prices of worse items will go up.

Same items drop. They are just not worth as much. Rng hasnt changed. Like op is suggesting. Some days u get shit. Some days you earn.

then i think im nerfed since i started my first char :'(

Could be that. But then again, last one or two weeks of 1.0.6 the economy was pretty much the same as post 1.0.7, so i'd say prices have not changed that much. Just it seems like i am not getting the same amount of stuff that sells.

ad3ddd, the concept of not having a gold sink OR an item sink, means the economy gets worse everyday, but the RNG stays the same. meaning that it becomes harder and harder to find good items, because the standard of a good item rises every day.
What was good a week ago, could be crap today.

There is a gold sink, it is called crafting. Seen numerous threads in official forums where ppl keep bitching about loosing 100 mil and not getting a good amulet. I don't get what you mean, dude. If the RNG stays the same(aka the drop of "good" items does neither increases nor decreases), why would it result in raise of the standard? In my opinion the standard raises, because all the people who buy the stuff that we bot, actually get to a point, where any UPGRADE gets really expensive. This is just an example, of course there are other reasons for the crappy economy. Not enough gold sinks for sure..

gold sink is different than item sink.
there is no item sink.
if you refer to crafting as an item sink, then you are wrong. because people only salvage the items that they would normally vendor. its all about what the 99percent do. and not the 1 percent
crafting as a gold sink, is still pretty terrible considering on occasion people spend 100m to craft. where as i bring over 100m new gold into the game every day

I consider it to be a gold sink, yes and not an item sink. Your point is valid, tho, botters bring in the game way more gold than the average user spends, that is, at least for crafting. I know the game needs more gold sinks as well as an item sink for the economy to work. If i understand your previous post correctly, you suggested that a non-changing RND will eventually result in an overflow of identical items, hence raising the standard for a "good" item(s). That right? :)
